InsaneBoost
How much are your tickets? I don't buy season tickets because I can't afford them. And if I could, I wouldn't be pissed over it, I got to see my Skins play, and I'd be satisfied. If you're botherd so much about the tickets, don't renue your contract so someone else who really does want to see them play can and will.
PCS
Uh, actually, my beef is all about season tickets so I can and will b!tch about getting ripped off. People who buy their tickets week to week aren't charged full price for two exhibition games. Wow, there was one whole season ticket holder who doesn't mind getting hosed? Because the rest have been from Va Beach, Richmond, Park City or are 14.What act? I was already tired of having to pay $109 per seat for meaningless games and then they have the audacity to cut one of them short. If I paid $10 to see a movie and the power went out, I would expect a refund or passes to another show. Is this really an unreasonable argument? I think not. Can lead the horse to water. Read yet again. How do you know that those who were at the game and have said so are not season ticket holders,(excuding those who have admitted to being there on someone else's bill or otherwise)? Answer, you don't. And. Yeah. Wow. Now we have one whole season ticket holder who has hijacked a thread to start up his own ****athon because he feels hosed. Boy ain't that something. Again Dave, you might get a better ear from folks if you would tone it down and try to act your age some. This Whiny, insulting, Don Quixote chasing at windmills named Snyder act is tiresome and hasn't gotten you anywhere. Got a problem? ***** to the Redskins. This ain't them. The board may be owned by them, but "we" don't work for them. Good day sir.

What 19 year old that you know who is in college, is able to spend thousands on season tickets every year? There was a storm, if you're so upset over it, call the commissioner up considering he's the one that called the game, don't whine about Snyder cause he had NOTHING to do with the calling of the game. I'm sorry that you have been angry about paying for tickets every year, so you can do what I can do. Buy tickets to games when you get a chance, or you can continue to buy season tickets, which I'm more than sure you will do.
Skins n' Bones
I was there and I have season tickets (although we weren't sitting in them last night because we got better seats from a friend that couldn't go), and while it was very disappointing, since it was more than half over, it made sense to call it. Had it been a day game, maybe they would have waited it out longer. Anyway, the game was called by the NFL comissioner due to the lightning....not the rain as others have said. I was at a concert at RFK a number of years back when a girl was actually struck by lightning. Fortunately, she ended up being ok, but it was not a good experience to witness that. Because of the circumstances, I do not feel the need to get my money back for it. If it was after only a quarter or so....maybe.

The intent was to try to get you to make your point in a different, better way,(that and give you a little of your own medicine so that you would hopefully pay attention). Something to which you have ignored. You have whined, condescended, insulted, and generally have done a great job of insuring that you get little to no sympathy for your "cause". That and hijack a thread that was about the horrible storm last night that went through there and delayed and ultimately closed the game down. Congratulations Quixote, another windmill awaits you. Still going that route huh? I have made my point. You can keep ignoring it and call me Quixote if it makes you feel better. There is nothing Quixote about my argument though. Expecting a full product at full price is anything but unreasonable.

Considering you are renting your seat for the season, and not game per game, and because you say you expect a full product, the only way I could see you getting a refund for your tickets, with what you are trying to make a point with, would be if they didn't play a full NFL season. At that point in the game, it's backups and their backups against the same, and in a meaningless game where unfortunate injuries can occur. Couple that with the first delay, and I was pretty much done and ready to go. As a previous poster stated, if it were a regular or post-season game, it would be a different story. I don't think they'd give a refund; they would wait it out, or finish the game another day. Either way, would you really have wanted to A) leave FedEx at 4:00am or come back for another meaningless game at FedEx, when we could be preparing for our next opponent? We already only have 4 days to prepare for the Jaguars, and we need to be getting healthy and prepared for the Dolphins in 2 weeks.

morpheusmeyers
I couldn't believe how loud that strike was that caused the lights to go out in the third quarter. We got the heck out of there after that and those of you that were sitting in the upper deck were either very brave or very foolish. I'll let you decide. I was in section 440, 3 rows from the top. I'll vote very foolish. Felt like I was going to be blown out of the stadium.
jive_crankin
refs definitely made the right decision. I probably would have called the gaem from the beginning. had a storm up here in PA several weeks ago that looked just like the one in DC last night. morpheusmeyers
I must have missed where I asked you to get me my money back. I figured I would post something on Danny's little site and see what people thought. I should have figured you'd all be the good lemmings and make sure he gets to keep all the money. Of course the people who seem to think I should get over it aren't season ticket holders and it's obvious. I'm a season ticket holder and I agree with Skinsfan...get over it. If you thought the game was meaningless don't go. Sell your tickets. Give them to charity. But don't be a Debbie Downer.
morpheusmeyers
it was my dads, my brothers, and my first time ever going to see a pro football game. we sit down get some hotdogs and fries and cokes. we eat our stuff and they tell us to go to cover concourses. we talk to some dude from leesburg while we wait it out. they let us back and we were pumped. the special teams play by landry pumped my section, 417 for the rest of the game. i lost my voice after the TD by Sartz. the next series when those lights went out and the thunder everyone was like damn!! the ref suspended it then the security dude told us that the game was called so we head back to the bus and catch a ride back to my bros car and head back to VA. i extended my streak of games I go to my team wins. first time i go to a pro game it gets called, sucks doesnt it? other than all that rain and lightning we had a blast watchin the skins. Awesome. You guys should try another game. Never say never, but you gotta figure no way that happens again!

turbodiesel#44
If you were at Fed Ex and were struck by lightning and lived, I bet Snyder would comp or at least discount the next game for you. Lightning up people.

C.Taylor
Were you at the Monday Night game a few years back when the Cowboys beat us 27-0? That was the most miserable experience of my life. Snow, rain, sleet and wind all game long for 4 quarters. It wasn't a Monday night, it was a Sunday 1:00 p.m. game. You're right about the conditions, though. It doesn't get much worse than a 27-0 thumping by the Cowboys in 35-degree rain. The best thing about that day is that it was the day we got Sadaam Hussein.
