That's the team I would go with if I was coach. I would send Palmer to the PS this year, and bring him up as a 3rd string next year. Share your thoughts...

All are very good choices, I would have Westbrook as my surprise to make it over Butler, but I would probably be incorrect, just hopeful :)

I think realistically, this is probably the best bet at what the actual roster will be...I think it is 52 right now if I counted correctly, so you may have room for 1 more somewhere...maybe not.

Chris Wilson is going to make this team. Either in place of Wynn or Evans or just outright but he will make the team. Rock is in danger of not making it. They have worked out a lot of people at returner to see if anyone can do it. Much like Lemar Marshall I think everyone like Rocks but he is limited. And please oh please can we finally get rid of Ade Jimoh. Great special teamer, can't cover a cold.

That's why Jimoh makes the team always...once you get to that level of the depth chart at that position they actually WANT a special teamer, not a cover corner. The idea is that assuming reasonable health for the CBs, Jimoh should never have to step on the field on defense. You need people who can play special teams...

So we signed Beasley for nothing?

I dont know why people are assuming Beasley will make the team. We are just giving him a look. I'm sure his contract was minimal.

You have to realize he didnt play football at all last year after getting cut by the Dolphins in pre-season.

Fabini has had a poor camp and didn't look good last year for Dallas either. It appears the ship might have sailed on him as an NFLer.

Butler may be in danger of not making the team as he has missed a great deal of time in the summer. After Macklin, the Redskins are looking for ST help and Jimoh while limited otherwise has been a durable perfomer on teams.

I personally think the next surprise move could be for a veteran receiver who is released by another club.

I don't see anything that Bradford has done to recommend him. Has he made a play in either game so far?

Pinkston is probably too rusty to be of much help immediately.

As with Kendall the Redskins are probably looking for an upgrade here at WR.

Palmer was a waste of a draft pick if the plan was to go with the 2 veterans all along.

He has size and a strong arm, which means that SOMEONE out there without a developmental quarterback is likely to take him off our practice squad and put him on their active roster.

So, we just gave somebody else a free #6 draft pick.

I dont know that it was the plan to go with Brunell and Collins all along. Not Collins at least.

And I'm not convinced that someone will try to nab Palmer from us, not if he doesnt see any significant game action. Although I dont really know how it works. I'm assuming another club would just have to offer him a contract?

Personally, I think this is as close as it can get to the real deal.

However, there is a possibility that that Alexander and Mason make the squad ... in which case either Rock, Ade, or Fox would have to be cut.

Personally, I think the Skins should cut either Todd or Mark. It about time we have a young developmental QB. We don't have the luxury of waiting and waiting and waiting to see if Jason develops ... the younger QB will provide competition, and a safety net for the future.

The most glaring problem I've seen in this thread is lack of Tight Ends, in Joe Gibbs previous three years the Skins have had 4 TEs rostered each year. In 2004 and 2005 Sellers was considered an H-Back/TE, but 2006 he became primarily a FB and the four were Cooley, Yoder, Kozlowski, and Fauria.

Cooley, Yoder and who else?

I pretty much agree with everything here.

Edwards made a good showing in game 1. They have used Pucillo as a TE, and they can use Sellers there as well as you stated.
