Parking/Scalping queston

I am flying to Fed Ex from Vt for the sixth straight year now(Giants game). I bought 3 tickets(section 103 row 19 w/party passes) and one the guys going with me backed out. How hard will it be to sell this one ticket before the game, and can I get in trouble. I'd hate to get arrested before the game.

I am also trying to buy a parking pass. I found a Green one for $75 which seems like a good price, but by looking on Redskins.com it could be 6 different places. Are all Green parking passes good locations? Is it first come first serve?

Thanks for the input.

Green passes are good in any green lot. Resident Extremeskin ticket expert Mark the Homer will tell you you can do better on the price, if you want to play chicken with your flight deadline.

How much better, and from what source?

I'm not sure that answers my queston. I am also not sure how "shady" it would be to sell it over face value since I paid well over face value.

we are allowed to sell our season tickets whenever to whomever we want BUT not for more than face value. however there are always guys selling tickets for whatever they can get so you should be able to do the same.

Here's a thread that talks about buying passes.

I hope Mark the Homer doesn't mind, but if you send him a PM, he should be able to give you advice. He's done alot of research into options for purchasing tickets and parking passes, and I would venture that he knows as much as anybody on the board about it.

Your buddy screwed you over.

A single ticket isn't worth squat. What I would do is sell the tickets as a threesome, and do it as soon as possible. then wait about three weeks. Then pick up two more together.

I sold a single ticket for face value to one of the scalpers in the parking lot for the Monday night eagles game for face. I have sold other singles to the scalpers for half of face.

I would say they are worth something.

>> You can sell on stubhub or anywhere else EXCEPT the stadium for whatever price you want. You can not legally sell at the stadium for ANY price though enforcement varies. You should be able to get at least face + 15% on stubhub.

>>NOT TRUE. The language on the back of the ticket changed last year. You can sell for whatever price you want, but you can not sell more than half of the regular season games (but if you look on stubhub, people are selling season tickets, so what's up with that???....oh yeah, stubhub is a MAJOR advertiser for the Redskins, so maybe Danny's folks look the other way)

For the Giants game you should be able to get at least face value for it. If not, you should be able to get a little more. The closer you get to game time though it might be harder to unload.

Or the easier it might be to unload. It is a gamble if you hold off. Either you will not get much for it or you could get a great deal for it. If we are going into that game undefeated than you will get your money back in we have not won a game going into that game you might get $20 for it.

>> Any money you lose on the deal should be refunded by the friend who bailed on you. I always get my money up front to avoid such situations. Everybody wants to go to a game until it's time to pay, then you find out who REALLY wants to go and who is full of hot air (actually they are full of something else too).

Green is good. You can park in any of the green lots if you have a green pass.

>> If you sell at the stadium you will get between $20 - face value depending on how well the team is doing at that point and the weather that day. It costs nothing to list on Stubhub. It only costs if you sell it.

I agree 100 % and that goes for all portions of the game including gas, motel, beer and food. Get the money up front to avoid an uncomfortable situation.

Well he was trying to say that selling over face value is illegal. It's called scalping. Get caught and you will be in trouble.
