dizzinator53
Has anyone seen who leads the NFL in tackles? H.B. Blades is fo sheezy. I hope no one else posted this. But i am sure I will be soundly chastised if they have. I did see a post that he was leading the team... but not the NFL and he is. Good player. HTTR. RedskinDan0557
Good for him and us. I'm sure someone will find something negative to say about this.
dizzinator53
Good for him and us. I'm sure someone will find something negative to say about this. word. Let me eliminate it for them. "It's preseason... he is playing against third teamers." Pray tell... does that cause him to be in a better position to tackle and make plays? NO. Good Tackling wins defensive battles. Defense wins Championships. Except last year.
No_Pressure
We couldn't be in a better situation at MLB really...we have Fletcher who has looked great grooming Blades who is in the same mold, and has also looked great. These stout linebackers are tackling machines, I'm tellin you, they sink down behind the linemen and blow up backs that come through the wrong hole

herrmag
word. Let me eliminate it for them. "It's preseason... he is playing against third teamers." Pray tell... does that cause him to be in a better position to tackle and make plays? NO. Good Tackling wins defensive battles. Defense wins Championships. Except last year. No. But it does limit the skill of the RB's that he's tackling, the O-linemen and TE's that are blocking him, the QB's that are calling the plays, audibles, and/or doing the play-action, and the receivers/TE's (already mentioned TE's) that he may have to drop back to cover. Did I cover everything? He may be the real deal, but anyone running around screaming his praise over 2 preseason games is being unrealistic and setting themselves up for a let down come the regular season. SkinsManNJ
Its good to hear that he is a tackling machine like Fletch is. Hopefully we keep him a good long while and he keeps producing. When Fletch is ready to hand the torch over H. B. will pick up where Fletch left off. HHTR to H.B.
turbodiesel#44
He'll probably make the team and actually see a little field this season with Marshall gone. He may even be part of the reason that Marshall is gone.
[[ghost]]
He is playing against weaker opponents. that said, with some experience and coaching tips, he will be playing the same at a higher level.
mcarey032
Yeah Blades looks like he is going to be a beast. However, I really like Fletcher. He was on my fantasy team last year and that guy was an automatic 10 tackles a game. He was playing on a cruddy buffalo defense, so imagine what he will do here. RenegadeTK
thats beautiful.... i cant believe how much he has improved from last preseason. he has a great instincts and game speed my prediction is that Fletcher will lead the regular season in defensive tackles.... yes sir

riggins4452
Bottom line is the guy is doing a good job against whoever is lined up against him, and thats pretty much all we can ask for right now.

Pedro
The guy has football smarts. GW says he will be playing at more than one position against the Ravens. Reading between the lines while taking a sip of the kool-aid he's the new versatile backup that replaces Lemar which in turn allowed us to sign Godfrey (who will back up/spell Marcus). 6th round draft picks are becoming our forte
AceSkinsFan
Everybody's gotta start somewhere and I'd say this is a great way to start. We need as many guys we can that will make tackles and fly to the ball. So far Blades is a keeper!
CM916
McIntosh is ranked 15th with 11 tackles as well. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=TACKLES

I understand why you did it, but seriously, this is the reason people make fun of 'skins fans. Some of us get TOO excited, too quickly. SkinsFTW
Just the kind of player we need. Cheap and effective. Thats why it pays to get good players in the later rounds.

chaught76
I still can't believe the guy fell into the sixth round... Same here. I was honestly more excited about some how getting Blades with this low of a pick than I was about Landry.
Darc Requiem
He'll probably make the team and actually see a little field this season with Marshall gone. He may even be part of the reason that Marshall is gone. Yeah you make an excellent point. Maybe G.W. wants to get H.B. on the field some more. If the D runs any 3-4 packages having H.B Blades lined up next to London Fletcher-Baker on the inside would be a scary sight for opposing RBs and QBs. cuchip703
If he continues to develop our defense has a good base for years to come in Mac, Blades, Taylor and Landry. Add Rogers and Golston and its a good start.
