LifelongSkinsFan
Redskins.com still shows a store at Chesterfield Town Center in Richmond, but the store is gone. I was at the mall the other day and it wasn't there and I confirmed the absence on the mall's website. Evidently the Short Pump Town Centre store is still around, as it still appears on that mall's website. Does anyone know: did the Chesterfield store close entirely, or did they move to another location? Why does Redskins.com still list the store as being there? Jofizz
I don't know about the Chesterfield location, but last time I was in Richmond, I saw the store in the Short Pump Town Centre.

mcarey032
hmmm? Try calling the stadium store or maybe the other richmond store might have info as to why it wasn't there. Just a suggestion.

RFK Lives
Yep, Short Pump Town Center, a stone's throw from my door but the store is quite small.
JC girl
I haven't seen it at the Chesterfield Mall, I am pretty sure it is gone from there. They probably just haven't updated that part of the site in a while, I am sure it is not one of their biggest concerns.
McMetal
The one at Willow Lawn isn't an official Redskins store, it's a sports memorabilia shop. Apparently everything is going under at Chesterfield Town Center...the movie theatre was practically brand new and closed a few months ago. I don't what the problem is with Southside people that they can't support a nice mall like that...it was a great location and in great condition. CGSKINS
we need one out at VA center commons. The one out at short pump is small.
BAFGA
I really don't like Short Pump, mainly because of the traffic. I knew once that opened that regency would die. Once 288 opened up, it's taking out the malls in Chesterfield. Why would anyone go to a mall with such bad traffic and lack of parking? It baffles the mind. Personally I do most of my Redskins shopping online, and the rest I do at the stadium.
ThaGibbskin
Yep, Short Pump Town Center, a stone's throw from my door but the store is quite small. i guess u never saw the one at chesterfield town center. i think the closet in my bedroom is bigger than that store was. the one at Short Pump has pretty much everything. its at the end of the mall, 2nd floor. Its not southside people its the fact the 2 newer malls have opened up, Stony Pt. & Short Pump. Also the Hull St. Corridor in Midlothian is booming. I still wish we had a Redskin store here though. LifelongSkinsFan
Apparently everything is going under at Chesterfield Town Center...the movie theatre was practically brand new and closed a few months ago. That theater was hardly new...it's been around forever (I first went to it in 1991 and it wasn't close to being new then) and since it lacked stadium seating (and it wasn't possible to retrofit it) it couldn't compete with all the new theaters in the area. The theater's being replaced with a brand new Barnes & Noble.I'm actually closer to the Short Pump location, but I thought it odd that the other store had closed yet the site was still claiming it was there. Thanks for the responses.
Patrick86L
yea i just tried to go to the redskins store at Chesterfield Towne Center the other day and found it it wasn't there either, I was pissed because I was going to get a Jason Campbell jersey...I remember they opened it there when Gibbs came back in '04 and it never looked like it was busy any time I went in. There are too many cowboys fans and closet redskins fans around here anyways, its like people are afraid to show people they support the skins. I wish we had a mall as nice as CTC near me. I'm stuck with Regency and Ghetto Lawn.
