Da_Truth
This guy is a complete safety and is making is mark as someone to respect. For those of you guys who didnt see the game last night, it will come on at 2pm. Record it. Notice in the 1st qrt with 9:10 seconds on the clock, Steelers do a toss pass to the left, Landry comes in and take the FB out and Carlos makes the tackle. Landry then gets up and mouths off at the FB as to say, " dont come at me like that", then walked away as the FB was steadly looking at him for a good 10 secs as to say, " who does this guy think he is?" It was hilarious. Then the very next play after that, Landry was matched up with Santonio Holmes one on one, so Ben took his oppurtunity to throw it to Holmes deep, Landry was all over Holmes step for step and had that play on lock. Just some plays I named for you guys to look for when you see the game replay ( 2pm EST on NFL Network) If this defense stays healthy, this may very well surpass the defense back in 04'
SkinsHokieFan
That is the exact play I wanted pointed out Landry, by taking on the block and filling any hole made the play. The rest of the D came in and forced the loss Absolutely correct, the kid is a complete safety, and plays the run very well. I was impressed by his play last night
Supreme Wu
We've never had two tools like ST and LL at safety -- I don't think any team ever has. Gregg Williams must giggle himself to sleep every night.
cphil006
Sweet. Landry looked good.
deejaydana
thanks for the heads up on that, they didn't broadcast the game in California last night so I'm all about watching the replay. Power of Positive Thinking: no major injury to Campbell and speedy recovery for Marcus!
[[ghost]]
Landry looked amazing. Its not just that he's physically talented and game smart, but he has a huge passion. He plays with a lot of anger. He didn't just take on that block, he took that FB out. He puts a lot of adrenaline into the team.
PCS
An excellent compliment, (so far), to Sean back there I think. Now he will still probably give us a few  rookie moments, but right now, he's looking like the real deal out there and this is a very good thing, (Well. For the Skins anyway. Other offenses on the other hand.....).
isle-hawg
Landry had a great game, I was skeptical that he would start opening day due to GW's knack for holding out Rookies. Landry is not playing like a rookie, as others have said if the D can get Marcus back quickly then stay healthy the sky is the limit for this D. RonArtest15
He also got in Hines Ward's face last night as well.....dude is a presence plain and simple...I hope this defensive intensity can carry over to the regular season....we just seem like a more cohesive unit on the defensive side of the ball, and the scary thing is GW didn't show us too much of what he usually has gameplanned for the regular season, if anything at all....9/9 can't come soon enough! willmb5
Landry took out the lead blocker on a few plays last night, setting up other defenders to make the play on the ball carrier. It reminded me of the Sean Taylor highlight from 2 years ago when he clocks Larenzo Neal (one of the best fullbacks in the league) and then somehow stripped Ladanian Tomlinson of the ball. Landry and Taylor give this defense so much versatility in the secondary, and our LB's have looked phenomenal in the first 2 preseason games. This D is going to be damn good again this year. kevinklein
I love how he's just come in an embraced the starting role. He acts like he belongs on the field with the first team defense, and he hits and covers like it too. Between him and the emergence of Rocky, we're starting to get a nice little core of homegrown players. Well...2 anyway.
BUCS_FAN6263
Living here in Pitt I watched the Game when the Bucs were over on the Sirius and who REALLY impressed me was H.B. Blades out of Pitt. He was near the ball almost every play. Oh and Gaines Adams forced a fumble and got a sack...just saying :2cents:
Koolblue13
With healthy corners who can cover, it was a great idea to get a run stuffing safety. Glad we thought of it this year.

S.T. 2. Landry 3. Rogers 4. Golston 5. Montgomery 6. H B Blades 7. Rocky Thats just the defensive side of our draft w/ Gibbs. All the guys listed seem that they will have a nice future w/ the Skins. I think alot of fans fail to realize what kind of talent Gibbs has actually brought VIA draft, trade, FA, etc. He seems to have a good mix of FAs, draft picks, and vets so when we start winning very soon and all the pessimist that doubted our Defense and Gibbs please be a man and admit you were the "ugly fan" and we all know God don't like ugly.
