I don't know what time his and Marcus Washington’s MRI are scheduled for, but I'm sure that there will be plenty of threads and articles about it as soon as it is released.

No one will have to ask.

The board will be cluttered with MEGA MERGED MRI threads.

']Didn't Campbell already say he was fine? His post game comments indicated that he wasn't really concerned.

You didnt mean to say he SHOULDNT get an MRI, right?

Just because he said he was fine, right?

I could just imagine this board EXPLODE if JC DIDNT get checked out and then in week 5 or so he cant paly well because there was something that was NOT seen.

It is precautionary.

NO other way around it.

My post said NOTHING about an MRI. I was referring to Campbell's "post-game comments" from the article and the fact that he said he was saved from an MCL or ACL. That is all.

We'll need to get a couple of doctors to post their findings along with a psychologist or two to talk about JC "mental" stability after "almost" being hurt...

Maybe SportsCenter will do a "Top 10 Plays of QBs who ALMOST got injured in the Pre Season"

You think that he didnt get hurt? A bruised/sprained knee is almost unbearable pain. Hurts like hell. Didnt you see him rolling around on the field?

If his knee feels fine, no sense in getting an MRI. If he has a problem in week 5, he'd probably feel a little worse now. What is there to see???

Surely you dont think the coaches are going to say....Do you feel OK Jason?

OK.....if you feel ok we wont look at it and make sure everything is good.

We know you would tell us if you have a twinge. We know you wouldnt play hurt.

Thank god we have trainers and coaches to take care of this sort of thing and not our fans that would say....are you ok?

X-ray was negative according to CBS:

"Campbell was hit flush on the knee in the first quarter by Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel, who was assessed with a personal foul for a low hit on a quarterback in the pocket. Campbell grabbed his knee in pain and remained on the field for a couple of minutes before gingerly limping to the sideline. X-rays revealed only a bruise -- and no serious ligament damage that could ruin his season."

But of course the MRI will better tell about soft-tissue and ligament damage (if any)

I expect they won't do the MRI until late afternoon, maybe even tomorrow morning to allow the knee to settle in. And results will probably not be released until tomorow.

Can't wait. Our whole season is hanging in the balance.

i don't know Todd Collins looked like he had potiental last nite.
