Number5
TC has been alot different than normal.... http://gcobb.com/content/view/408/1/ "Today Reid was watching a live drill when he said, "Get a back who will run hard" after Correll Buckhalter went through the motions on a rushing attempt. Words like that are a shot in the gut to a player who prides himself on being a true "warrior" on the field." also....from yesterday.... http://gcobb.com/content/view/404/1/ "Finally Reid just blew his stack, looked over at the defensive huddle with Jeremiah Trotter standing out front getting ready to make the call, and said, "I guess I need to get Gaither back in here" Yes that's what he said and he knew that all of the reporters were within earshod to hear his statement. Clearly this statement was aimed at middle linebacker Jeremiah Trotter. Gaither had made a few plays earlier in the practice and has had an outstanding camp. " GCOBB.com also adds from today that... "Andy Reid knows if this team can stay healthy they've got a chance. The play of two off season acquistions linebacker Takeo Spikes and wide receiver Kevin Curtis have made Andy realize that they could be a better team than they were in their Super Bowl year. He knows they have a deeper and more complete wide receiver corps, plus an established running game. They have the potential to be more consistent and versatile than they were in 2004." :fingersx: Here's to wishing.... Click links to read the rest of the article. Every team LOVES not having a true number one and trying to make #4s into 3s and #3s into 2s. That's what every coach dreams of. I'm sorry, I think the Eagles are the best team in the East and the clear front runners in the divison, if not the conference but that statement is ****ing ridiculous. They could've run a bunch of one wooden legged pirates around at WR outside of TO and they'd have had a more complete WR corps in their SB year. WR is clearly the main, if not only, weakness on the Eagles roster. Same as it ever was, save the 2 TO years.

DCsportsfan53
Brown, Curtis, Avant, and Baskett are infinitely better then Pinkston, Thrash, and Mitchell. And Owens >>>>>>>>>>>> all of 7 of them combined. The Eagles are basically asking all their WRs to step a slot above where their talent places them. However, with that OL and that defense, they'll still be productive. I honestly think it's ridiculous to think the passing game will match 05, though, because Owens opened things up for everyone else and dominated people. It will take 3 or 4 WRs AT LEAST to match his TD production from that year. I know DCSportsfan53 personally and he's a certified homer. Dude even owns an Irvin jersey. I swear to God. You ****ing **** smoker.

tr1
Yada...yada...yada... The Eagles will go as far as McNabb takes them. Westbrook had a career year last year, and though I admire him, I don't think he can hold up for sixteen this year. And I'm still not sure how Kearse will be. praise_gibbs
This is Reids last year. Anything less than a Superbowl and it is search for a new HC for 2008. Lurie can only take so much before he takes the headset from Reid and hand it to someone else. Personally, I think the Eagles will be better off without Reid. He isn't a bad coach but, he just can't take the next step and that is to pop Philly's cherry and give them a Lombardi. Maybe it is because of his huge mancrush on McNabb? DallasCowboyFan156
I think the Eagles have a chance to do some really good things this season. But as for them being as good as their NFC Championship season (It's not a Superbowl season unless you win it) I don't think so. That team was very talented and I'm not completely convinced that Mcnabb will be the same quarterback when he returns to the field. That said, I think Philly and Dallas are pretty much neck and neck for the best in the NFC East.
