SWFLSkins
I know it was just a preseason game, and the Cowboys just made the first appearence of the year, but Joe Buck was about to liquify on himself while broadcasting the game. Personally I am glad the guy is not a Redskins homer because I would be embarrassed to have him act like that on behalf on my team. I remember Aikman actually shutting him down a few times in the past. I think Troy, even though it was his team is at least not gushing over the team on every play. Aikman is quite possibly the best game annoucer out there now, but pairing him with the worst is hurting his potential. Is there anyone in the production room paying attention, it is stupid and un-professional.
Vilandil Tasardur
After that commercial he made, I just can't listen to Joe Buck anymore. It makes me laugh to hard. "And it's slama-dama, DING DONG, GOOD!"
Rocky21
Agree with SWFL's post above. Aikman is insightful and doesn't play favorites and Buck sucks balls. He is a frickin' baseball announcer for cripes sakes. Send him back over there.
BAFGA
FOX has a hard on for Joe Buck, so he isn't going anywhere. And I agree with you about the homerism. He had his lips planted firmly on Jerry Jones' rear end last night. I'll take Sam Rosen and whoever is his partner (not Bill Maas anymore for obvious reason) any day. ouvan59
There are a couple of things that just drive me nuts about preseason games. 1. I friggin hate, loathe, abhor sideline interviews during the games. I can tell you well ahead of time what they are going to say and it really irks me when they miss the start of plays which they invariably do. I'm watching the game because I'm interested in how the players look on the field, yes even the guys that probably won't make the team. I'm not at all interested in whether they've got their canned answers to softball questions worked out yet. Of course I hate sideline reports during the regular season too unless they are giving an injury update which really could be given from the booth anyway. 2. Yeah, yeah, yeah I already know that "the coaches are really high on this guy." Announcers say that about every single rookie. You could make it a drinking game and you would be passed out before the end of the game if you did a shot everytime it was said.
IrishOrange15
How and when did Joe Buck ever become a Cowboys fan/homer/anything? You could've fooled Cowboys fans for the past 10 years. YAKUZA

DCSaints_fan
Joe Buck seems almost universally hated. I wish he would just stick to baseball. Aikman is OK.

I think Buck should be demoted to broadcasting Irish Hurling matches. YAKUZA although hurling is pretty spectacular to watch

jgwyn500
I remember clearly Buck predeicted the cowboys to win the SB before the first game last year. And after listening to him last night im pretty sure he will make the same prediction this year. :2cents:
SMOSS89
Joe Buck has stated clearly that Fox wants the Cowboys to do well because of their ratings. Thats part of the reason he does that. Obviously for us Skins fans that horrible, but thats fine, I'll live with the fact that the "high ratings" audience hopefully get to see their beloved Cowboys get their ass kicked by the Skins.
