Touchdown Redskins
Kendall + veteran guard + Todd Wade not doing so well (?) + Jets galore on the Redskins + Danny Boy's deep pockets + known name in the NFL + pretty old = Welcome the the Redskins Pete Kendall. herb mul-key
gwhatever - what do you think? is that your picture? Redskins related enough comparatively.... because we are not in this situation w/ campbell though down the road it is a interesting concept to discuss...and I think Kendall is a dirtbag who would give us great depth at guard if we could swing it when he comes available. Monkart
You may want to ask a Mod to move this to the ATN for you!! Every player that is going to get released doesn't mean they become Redskin related! Just saying, I'd be suprized if they don't move it.

Close enough, I guess. No that's not my picture, but it represents an open invitation to all the conspiracy theorists who suggest we can't properly evaluate a "proposition" unless we waste our time trying it. Of course it has nothing to do with this... In regards to your questions, I think any disgruntled (but not cancerous) veteren offensive lineman who still possesses talent would be a good fit for the Redskins right now. I don't think the idea of allowing Campbell call his own plays is really even relevant at this point or at any point in the near future.
Riggo-toni
Campbell isn't experienced enough to call his own plays, despite the TD pass last year to Cooley.
elkabong82
Pennington= veteran who knows his offense and players Campbell= first full season as a starter This thread looks like more of a poor attempt to slam the Redskins. Can we as fans please get off the jocks of whichever coaches did well the previous year? Our coaches are fine, and most of you had no trouble beleiving that last offseason. SkinsTerps26
skins need oline depth after the injuries since camp started. I see no problem in suggesting this him as a viable player. and about chad calling plays, i think thats fine to try in practice and maybe preseason to see how things shake up. SkinsHokieFan
I think bringing in Kendall would be a good move, but for 2.7 million? Hmm
pjfootballer
The title suggest this belongs in the ATN, but Redskins related, I don't want Kendall. He's a disgruntled veteran that wants money. If Wade doesn't cut it, we have Pucillo and Fabini to start.
herb mul-key
I am not slamming our coaches or skins at all...just bringing to light a comparison of approaches...I believe when a qb is ready and shows the ability he should be able to call plays...the idea Mangini has about being harder to see tendencies I thought was valid and worth discussion and to point out it is an advantage we don't have...our coaches probalby wouldn't do it if PEyton was our qb.. What qb's could call plays?? Farve Brady P. Manning McNabb Brees
Die Hard
Former Pro Bowl LT Lomas Brown, who is tutoring D'Brickashaw Ferguson, said he has been impressed by Mangini's camp. "I don't think anybody is going to outwork these guys," he said I love hearing how other teams are working hard in camp.... and all our coaching staff and players can say is.... this year's camp is harder than last year. Peregrine
I do like the idea of the QB calling a series or two worth of plays. It really keeps the defense off balance, and honest, and if he sees something the OC doesnt seem, that could lead to an extra win or two. You saw what happened last year on the one play JC called... terpfan44
Is this Redskins related? Do you suggest that we do this with Campbell? sometimes people need special help when the attention deficiet sets in.. this was about the possibility of Kendall playing here..he wants 2.7 million..that is not a lot of money for Snyder to shell out..to get a replacement for Dockery ... at a third of what Derrick received from Buffalo that is sound spending if it can be swung
pjfootballer
Who said Wade isn't doing well? I haven't heard this at all. I always say, when there is no news on an offensive lineman, that is good news. Like in a game. If you never hear his number called, he's having a good game. I haven't heard a peep about Wade.
