SuperBash
Zelda Ocarnia of Time? I beat it when I was younger and now I downloaded it for the Wii and it brings back so many memories. It is probably one of the greatest games ever and my all-time favorite. Anyone else ever play it?
PokerPacker
that game is of legendary status among nintendo fans. something you might want to try, the master quest. when windwaker came out, they had a promotion for preorders where they gave out a redone version of ocarina of time. the only real difference in the game is that the dungeons are different (i think they kept the same water temple since it was hard enough already). apparently since the original game was for the n64, the master quest was just ported over to the gamecube. so when someone ripped the rom from the disc, it was playable on an n64 emulator... so yeah, you should try the master quest. edit: oh, and if you haven't played twilight princess yet, its a must-have. definitely lives up to and surpasses the standard set by the ocarina. WVUforREDSKINS
Oh man, that game was great! I didn't care for the Zelda that came after that, the one with cell shading graphics. I would spend so much time time playing it. Remember the first Zelda on NES? After you beat it once you could play it again and the levels were different, it was like a different game. ChampSkinsFanatic
I never played it but I have an N64 emulator and I play Smash Bros and WWF No Mercy. Games like Madden are complicated because I dont have a real N64 controller.

Spartacus87
Love, love, love Ocarina of Time. One of the best games of all time, easily- just unbelievably epic, deep, great dungeons, great music, satisfying upgrades in weapons/armor/whatever, good mini-games (I especially liked the fishing one where you had to catch the record fish)...it really had it all. I always thought it could've been a pretty good movie in some kind of format (maybe animated). All I really played on N64 was that, No Mercy, and Perfect Dark. PokerPacker
i remember the first time i faced gannon in OoT, i ran out of magic so i couldn't shoot anymore light-arrows. i thought i had pretty much automatically lost, but then i went through my inventory and saw the deku nuts which can be used to stun enemies. they didn't stun him as long as the light-arrows did, but the did just long enough for me to run around him and finish him. Die Hard
please use a more descriptive thread title next time please. thanks. It's actually pretty humorous. With a title like "Ever play"... talk about building up hype and curiosity to get readers to open the thread out of pure intrigue. And I'd imagine... as a result, the vast majority of us who didn't play this game close the thread immediately and regret the decision. It's almost as if people don't think others will read their threads if they actually knew what the post was about. So they're inclined to use ambiguous titles. DCSaints_fan
Yes, it is a classic. My roomate in college had it and I would always play it when he wasn't. And I'm not even into consoles that much.
RobertGoulet
Yea Ocarina of time was a great game. I hated majora's mask, enjoyed windwaker and loved twilight princess.
mhd24
Majora's Mask>Ocarina IMO. Majora's Mask was frankly harder, which I liked. However, greatest gamer ever is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. That game is PERFECT.
TheREALJBird
Great game, loved playing it. Doesn't hold a candle to the Final Fantasy series and FFVII...but that's another argument for another day:)
PokerPacker
Great game, loved playing it. Doesn't hold a candle to the Final Fantasy series and FFVII...but that's another argument for another day:) its not exactly fair to compare games of different genres. zelda is an action/rpg while final fantasy is just straight-up rpg (and i've still never played one of the games in the series, closest i've come was until recently mario rpg, but i finally played through chrono trigger.) PokerPacker
Majora's Mask was frankly harder, which I liked. that may be, but a big part of action/rpgs are the story, which i think oot had over mm.
praise_gibbs
One of the very few games that I did beat. This game was just sick. One of the better, if not best, Zelda game that was ever put out.
