PokerPacker
Stupidity has no bias towards age. I think that answers your question. . . although ignorance certainly can :2cents:
Bang
I don't really bother checking the age of a poster, unless he or she shows themselves to be young an inexperienced through their words, and then only when I'm in the Stadium. I always find it amusing when a person tries to tell me something about a player that retired when they were 4. ~Bang
gbear
Oddly, I usually look at the name of the poster, and usually not until I've read the post. Sometimes, I try to guess who wrote what I'm reading, and often it's easy with the writing styles and perspectives. I almost never notice the age. Member number is the important number. McMetal
Absolutely it matters to me. I freely admit I place a lot less stock in someone's opinion that is significantly younger than I. There's just no substitute for life experience. I guess it's partially due to my utter contempt for the whole blackberry/IPOD/X-Box/cell phone lifestyle. Plus the young people's music mostly sucks. - Increasingly Crotchety
Midnight Judges
The only time I look at a member's age is when they post a link to a video and say it's funny. Teenagers post some dumb vcids round here. Other than that, I've been fairly impressed with some of the younger posters who are interested in politics. Renegade7
The age diversty now is a helluva lot larger then it was when I first started posting. I came here when I was 15, and there was NOBODY my age. The only one I remember being even close to my age was Liberty(cool guy, have a lot of respect for him), but even he was around two years older then me and on a whole different wavelength. I had the age card played on me enough that I started getting mad about it. I even came to a point one day that I almost removed my age altogether. And few things pissed me off more then when people didn't believe I was my real age. It's never easy changing the mind of somebody twice your age, trust me, I know. My passion didn't let me stop until at least somebody, anybody stopped being biased or closed-minded and understood what the hell I was talking about. I'm not perfect, never have been, never will be. Extremeskins was and still is my refuge, and it took a lot of me trying to "fit in" back then. Added to what I was going thru in my life I can honestly say I eventually lost my mind(that's an apology btw:) ). And even though Extremeskins isn't perfect, I'm still surrounded by people just as infatuated with this team as I am, and I learn something new everyday. Age ain't nothin but a number to me, and I've always been that way. Glad to see more people feel the same way. :hail: (You newbies are soooo spoiled  )
pjfootballer
I'm like most others. Content has to be it for me. And when I first came here, I was real shy about my opinion and the one thing that burns me are new posters that come in like a tornado and acting like the resident internet tough guy. Why create hostility when you have no clue what's going on. I tried to work myself in as slow as possible.
One Shot
I'm like most others. Content has to be it for me. Why create hostility when you have no clue what's going on. I tried to work myself in as slow as possible. I had the same approach as you when I came here. I didn't say too much, didn't start too many threads. It's funny, because the threads I did start were kinda worthless like a lot of the threads started in the Stadium today. I mean, they were still kinda thought-out, but worthless none the less. But I wouldn't get slammed for it, maybe because I was new or because I was 15, I don't know. These days, it doesn't matter who you are, if you start a worthless thread over there, you're done. Age doesn't matter.....even though n00bs are cut some slack. On another note, with all the 30 year olds around here who sound like little kids, it makes you wonder if those 30 year olds really are kids just putting false ages. I don't remember you posting like that or at all, but I remember when I first saw you post. You had a different name though.
