3 Rings
Anybody ever done this? Any recommendations? I need to get my dog here from MS and it looks like it will be way too hot to put him on a commercial flight...any help would be appreciated. He is an Aussie Shepherd, 6 months old, and his name is "Monk." You know you got to help that guy get home!
MontanaRed
http://www.petsit.com/content99.html Here's a few paragraphs about 1/2 way down about air travel - I think you're right, most airlines aren't going to do it in the summer. I personally wouldn't want to take the risk anyway. There are companies that specialize in animal transport though; search "animal transport" and you'll get some good hits. Look for members of IPATA or AATA. (can you charter Monk a nice comfy air contitioned jet? )
DOOG
I cant tell you where or how to find them... but I have heard of services that actually taxi animals form state to state with different people taking different portions of the trip. I dont have any other info than that. Hey...maybe you can connect the dots with a few ESrs who want to take a road trip with a pooch! :logo:
3 Rings
Thanks Guys! I knew someone would throw some ideas out there. I'll do some research at that site. Hell...maybe I can call up the Danny to loan out Redskins One! I won't hold my breathe though....
