Even though as fans we tend to overhype everything that happens in training camp, nothing really definitive has happened yet especially regarding injuries. The goal is to have everybody healthy (as possible) and sharp for the opener.

It is normal for players to have health issues and ups and downs as training camp work intensifies and they try to heal from offseason surgery and get into game shape at real speed/with contact and in pads. Just about every training camp has a few key guys trying to practice and at times being rested because of this or that. There is also some trial and error between the right amount of treatment/ rest and preparation for the real season.

For Samuels, Portis, Moss, Washington and Thomas (all key players) there is plenty of time to get healthy between now and Sept. 9 when we defeat the Dolphins on our way to an 11 win season.

Read about other training camps, what we have here is pretty common.
