Brandon Lloyd Christmas
I certainly will.I have never understood those who KNOW something is wrong....and when someone speaks up for it....they became arrogant or contrite. It is what it is. Will they have them taken down? I dont know. But I imagine if many fans do this....they will do something. And then it effects others. so youve stated that its prohibited. were all aware. the people who shot the video are aware. they obviously didnt care, neither do i and others here. if the redskins really do care that much, theyll take action. i personally doubt they will. jrfriedm
This can't be good.... Carlos what's up with the 10 yard cushion  Because Carlos "No D" Rogers can't cover a thing. He gets burnt more often then bread in $.99 toaster oven. He sucks. And this is why he will be reduced to the #5 CB by the end of the season. I imagine that soon the they will make all picture phones prohibited inside the training camp area, much like they do at courthouses now, or at least at the Virginia Beach Court House. Brandon Lloyd Christmas
Thank you voice of ES. youre welcome. I sure hope not, in fact I really liked the footage wished we could find some more clips of what was going on a training camp because I have to work I am unable to ever get out there. When they say they prohibit, I understand they really don't want any footage. But cmon if the footage isn't showing anything that the public couldn't already see, then why would they really care that much? Keep in mind it is a 24 sec clip. Or maybe you could just enjoy the videos for what they are until the team takes them down...... nice find indeedlookn strong Jason these people are all really upset the videos are up too. damn those rule breakers!! Probably not (especially during training camp), but I think it was the Packers coach Mike Holmgren (correct me if I'm wrong) who noticed the opposing team doing shovel passes in a news broadcast and then made a point of practicing for the play. It prevented some big plays. Does any team in the league not have open practices?
mojobo
Since recording at training camp is prohibited......I wonder what the Redskins will do when they see this. fix the search function??? :whoknows:

BMahoney
Thats interesting about Green Bay, but I don't think we gave up any potent information from those clips. Only that Lloyd will be getting a TD this year.

Loyal2Washington
Anyone who thinks the Redskins are running anything of importance in an OPEN TO THE PUBLIC practice is out of there minds. All the important wrinkles, plays, and new sets are being worked on during the closed to the public practice's. I don't think Dallass is flocking to the nearst computer to find Redskins practice footage of open practice. People better worry about Danny hiking the prices up even higher on Redskins merchandise at those trailers or going back to charging for training camp before he closes every practice to the public, because some guys got some shakey training camp footage. Also whats the difference between video and still photography, pictures can be made public just as easy.
mojobo
I think that it was actually because of this that they dont want any videos... http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=7425

They dont show crap to the public....that is why all practices are closed after the 8th. Surely, anyone with any kind of football knowledge knows this. I dont even think that is an issue however. I dont think our merchandise is any higher than what I have to see here in dallas with the blue and silver all over it. You know the Jer is gonna make as much money as possible. Leonard Washington
Thanks to the jackasses who filmed these, the Skins will either shut down camp to the public or we won't be able to bring in cell phones anymore. i don't mind. 80% of the fans are on the phone at any given moment anyway. it would cut down on the chatter. SASKINTOTHEEND
Thank you. Do people really think Gregg Williams would let Rogers get away with giving extra cushion if he wasn't asked to do so expressly by the coaches? They would correct him if they thought he was starting the play out of position.:2cents: But then why is it happening? If you think about it, the WR can run a five and out and in two plays have a first. WHY?
dfos81
Corners may choose there cushion, within around 3 feet. The difference from Lloyd on the line pressing the wr and when he is giving them cushion is due to the coverage scheme not his inability to stay with a receiver. Do you honestly believe a starting Cornerback in the nfl would be allowed to continue playing if he was constantly giving that much space, and not being told to do so. Exactly, some schemes allow that cushion, especially 3rd and long that way the defense can just run and tackle and not give up the deep play. If he couldn't do anything but play 10-15yards off, do you guys actually think he would still be a Cb for us? Some guys forget what GW's true scheme is all about. CONFUSING THE OFFENSE is part of it, so if a qb sees a wr w/ no cb within 10yds, instincts will have him automatically throw to that wr 1st, but as long as Los tackles him before the 1st down marker, thats what matters the most. Anyone that has ever played football knows this.
TSO
Carlos has an exceptional ability to stop WRs one-on-one if and when the opposing offense tries to punish him for lining up that far off. So, the question is, if Carlos can pretty much guarantee that the only negative effect of giving the WR a cushion will not happen... then why line up close and risk getting burned? It doesn't matter how great a CB you are, or how fast. Champ Bailey used to get burned plenty of times. Why not make sure it never happens? Carlos catches too much flack from us here. Gregg leaves him on an island without Safety help all the time, and yet, we expect him to line up two inches away from the WR when the only advantage a WR has by him lining up that far off is negated by Carlos' tackling ability. Come on guys... we're supposed to be Redskin fans! We should, at the very least, know the strengths of our players. Carlos is one of the better tackling CBs in the league. He may be the best when it comes to one-on-one, open field tackling.
thehogs
being pretty hard on Rogers (and the season hasnt even started!)...no idea what the play/situation is that they are 'defending', the cover thats been called blah blah blah but we are on his back based on a 5 second burst of action in a training scrimmage. When you have friends like that.....
