"Some of the players heard about it last week. I don't even know if the coaches knew about it," Tim Brown said. Now suppose for a moment that we don't have a tampering situation, but rather a scenario that the Skins, Raiders, and the league has been mulling over for a week or so. The Skins may have already given permission to the Raiders to talk to Deion-- as evidenced by Bruce Allen NOT denying their interest yesterday-- and are expecting to receive an unexpected cap windfall as a result. That could also explain why the Jansen negotiations, which appear to have been headed nowhere, suddenly were resolved last week with a big fat signing bonus. This is a situation that will undoubtedly have me refreshing the board every 10 minutes today. You guys with access to WTEM need to keep us informed!
