Ok, i know it wouldn't make any sense for us to draft him, but being a student here at Baylor University, I can tell you first hand that if you want to forget about your punting troubles Daniel Sepulveda is it. He consistantly booms 50-60 yard punts at all the games, and in the midst of an awful program he is the only highlight. Also a two time winner of the Ray Guy award.

If he goes unsigned PLEASE PLEASE bring him in. He is amazing. In fact I've talked to his brother who also goes here and he said that the reason Daniel gets so much distance is that he uses a varation on the normal way to punt a ball. It has to do with the way that he drops it. He also has a drop position for punts to spin back (for punts that are meant to pin them deep in their own territory). Anyway, I can honestly tell you he is EXTREMELY good as a punter and what's more is he never played punter before he came to Baylor...he used to be a linebacker. And it shows.....

Woah H.B.Blades didn't get drafted? Someone was snoozing at their draft picks. Hey how much would it take to trade up into the 4th and take him?

I agree, I think H.B. Blades is going to be a late round steal, but not for us. If we had our 4th, then I think that is who we would take. Blades will be gone by the time our 5th comes around.

Honestly, I see us taking a kicker with one of those picks. Maybe using one of our 6th round picks on that Walter Thomas guy as a project, because sure everyone is thinking that too. Probably take an O-Line or another D-line man. Maybe a LB. I have no idea what our front office is doing, but what is worse, I have doubts they do either. Hope they pick it up on day 2, because I just don't believe we couldn't find a trade partner with the talent that was on the board when had our 6th pick.

Anyway, here to hoping we find some gems on day 2!!!!

HTTR!!!!

Jay Moore and Paul Soliai are the guys I would be looking to trade into the 4th for.

I thought I read somewhere that Paul Soliai was slower, poor man's version of Alan Branch. I know Walter Thomas is just a workout warrior right now, but in talking about a DT who eats up blockers, why take a roadblock when you can take a roadblock that hits back. I don't know, I guess we all will have to wait and see.
