Do the Skins trade away any players?

The problem is that the players we could getting rid of (Arch, B. Loyd, Springs) don't have contracts which most teams would want to take. At most other positions we don't have the kind of depth to be trading quality players and letting younger, more inexperienced guys take their place. I would never put it past them though to prove me wrong...

trading a 3rd or 4th for Patten wouldn't happen. Teams a are savy enough to know that a player not getting to player who is getting paid will ultimately get released or asked to be released. Patten has zero trade value.

Someone already said it, due to the contracts we've signed no dice...only way anything would work would be a sign (restructure) and trade.

I think like said above the contracts we give players are astronomical and other teams dont want to take them on.... also the players we want to get rid of all have major questions marks ( lloyd-attitude??, AA- anything left??, Springs- stay healthy??) this makes their contracts way to high with too many questions....

maybe we can just start packaging up our players and trade them all together for something.... we could probably get a 2nd or 3rd for all the players above??? well maybe a 3rd 4th.... haha....although I am for keeping springs....

The only reason to trade a player is if a team blows us away with a trade offer, we have a player we know we can't keep, or we have a player we don't want.. I doubt we will get much of the former, and we don't have any of the latter.

We did trade away Coles, Gardner and Ramsey, but by the time we traded them, they didn't have much value. For most of the players we have, they have more value to us than other teams would be willing to give us for them.

The Skins probably have a few players other teams might want ... that the Skins wouldn't be cutting anyway ... and that the Skins might be able to afford to part with ... maybe Mike Sellers or Pierson Prioleau or Troy Vincent. Small potato trades, but b/c all the Skins money is in the starters, the depth doesn't really look real tradeworthy, so its the situational guys who become more attractive.

He's not going anywhere. You can't trade for what he leaves out there on the field.
