tr1
...tick....tick...tick... AP - 2/16/2007 2:47 PM - Updated 2/16/2007 2:48 PM http://www.kotv.com/sports/local/story/?id=120548 WACO, Texas (AP) _ While Jerry Jones expects Terrell Owens to still be with the Dallas Cowboys next season, the team owner stopped short of guaranteeing that. While speaking before his induction into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco, Jones Thursday said quote, ``We are evaluating everybody, but still, my plans are for him to be back.'' Jones said he is enthusiastic about Owens' phone call to new coach Wade Phillips. The new coach made a point last week during his introductory news conference to refer to the receiver by name. Owens is due a $3 million roster bonus in June, then a $5 million salary this season. Cutting him before then would save a lot of money.
Fred Jones
The show has already begun. JJ probably had to set up the phone call himself. Neither Owens or Phillips, I am guessing, initiated the call by themselves. A few thoughts on the side. 1. I hope JJ gets back in the business of personally selecting draft picks. 2. Hopefully, Owens will be in full second season form. 3. Romo sits to pee does not progress and continues his late season struggles. 4. Phillips reverts back to the average head coach that he displayed previously. All resulting in the pukes fall to the bottom of the division. tr1
It's also likely that Romo sits to pee will get off to a poor start, just adjusting to the new schemes and coaches around him. We can only use TO's past to judge how patient he'll be...
zoony
Once TO gets his hands on that $3 million bonus, things are going to get awesome :munchout:

Califan007 The Constipated
The new coach made a point last week during his introductory news conference to refer to the receiver by name. I'm gonna miss hearing him called "that player" during press conferences...
Boozie3000
He'll be back, I personally guarantee it. He gets far too much media attention for Jones to cast him away.
