doom44
Great....Make the giants travel to BFE and lose a home game! That will make up for the extra one they got in 2005 coutesy of the Saints.

pjfootballer
I don't like it. One teams fans are going to get jipped out of a home game. It's easier to do it in Basketball (41 home games) Hockey (41) or Baseball (81), but football only gets 8 a year. Very unfair. Make Manchester United play a home game in New York and see how their fans would react.

The whole thing is unfair from many different angles. Man I hope they do not take a home game away from the Redskins.

Probably not too bad, considering Man U plays 38 league games a year plus UEFA cup games and FA cup games and the like. The whole travel time which many believe will screw up the players is true. but if you put that game after a bye week, they can adjust. Really, the nfl should just buy a concorde, and you really eliminate a lot of the problems of traveling. If the NFL really wanted to show Europe how intense american football is, a showdown between Dallas (their home game ofcourse) and the Redskins would be awesome. Christophe
London has been officially awarded the first competetive NFL match up outside the American continent. The teams and the date are to be announced before the 4th Feb
Zen-like Todd
That's great, I'm happy for you guys. I'd be shocked if you got any kind of a divisional matchup though, I'm sure fans would throw a huge hissy fit. You'll probably get an interconference game. nebster21
as long as it is only Miami losing it this year. I would not mind watching the Redskins play an away game right before their bye week in Germany. Ok now my day is ruined I will be thinking about drinking German beer while watching the Redskins play and for much cheaper than Few Ex Sells them for. MMMmmm beer :chug:

I firmly believe their fans would hate it unless its an exhibition. Pre-season games I don't mind, but not regular season. Too much at stake to be at a neutral sight.
