Predraft Trades: Atlanta trades Mike Vick to Oakland for Randy Moss and a 2nd Round pick.

Houston Trades there 1st round pick to Green Bay for GB's 1st, 2nd, and 4th round picks.

1 Oakland Raiders: WR Calvin Johnson GT, Owner Al Davis is all about the deep ball which is a perfect situation for Vick and with the addition of Johnson this team may be back in it.

2 Detroit Lions: QB Brady Quinn Notre Dame, Mike Martz offensive style is a perfect fit for Quinn and a perfect fit for the Lions Offense.

3 Cleveland Browns: DT Alan Branch Michigan, Since Crennel has been in Cleveland he has been trying to build up his 3-4 and the only thing missing is a good big guy in the middle. Branch should be there guy. The other possible pick here is jamarcus russell but the browns feel confident in Frye.

4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Gaines Adams Clemson, The bucs d-line is ageing and is in need of a pass rush. Lets just hope the bucs take Adams and not Anderson.

5 Arizona Cardinals: OT Joe Thomas Wisconsin, This is almost a for sure pick if Thomas is still avalible at #5 because the Cards need o-lineman BADLY.

6 Washington Redskins: DE Jamaal Anderson Arkansas, Jamaal is the perfect pick for us at #6. Anderson is as good against the run as he is at rushing the passer which is exactly what we need a pass rush and the ability to stop the run. We will be very lucky to get him if he is still avalible at #6. You dont ever see many Julius Peppers Clones.

7 Minnesota Vikings: QB Jamarcus Russell LSU, This will be a very hard pick for the vikings. On one hand you have a great WR in Dwayne Jarrett and on the other you have a top 5 caliber QB. The vikings have holes at both spots but good QB's dont come around to often.

8 Green Bay (from Houston): RB Adrian Peterson Oklahoma, The packers are hungry for a great RB and with the probable loss of Green to the Giants Peterson is there man.

9 Miami Dolphins: OLB/DE Quinton Mosses Georgia, Jason Taylor is getting older and is starting to talk about retirement so the dolphins should start looking for a replacement.

10 Atlanta Falcons: S Laron Landry LSU, The falcons have a pretty big need for D-Backs. The falcons really couldn't go wrong with Landry or Reggie Nelson.

11 San Francisco 49'ers: CB Leon Hall Michigan, Besides Walt Harris the 9ers are very weak at corner. So they take the top corner in the draft Hall.

12 Buffalo Bills: MLB Patrick Willis Ole Miss, The bills will probably let go of london fletcher this offseason and with the top corner off the board the bills should go with the top MLB in the draft.

13 St. Louis Rams: OLB Paul Posluzny Penn State, The Rams are very weak at outside linebacker. Poz would be a huge upgrade for this defense.

14 Carolina Panthers: S Reggie Nelson Florida, The panthers secondary is ageing they could use a very athletic sparkplug like Nelson to bring the fire back to this D.

15 Pittsburgh Steelers: OG/OT Justin Blalock Texas, Pittsburgh's line is starting to age and they have a pretty big hole at OG.

16 Houston Texans (from Green Bay): OT Levi Brown Penn State, Houstons line has allways been a question mark. Brown is a dominating run blocker and pass blocker he will help both the texans running game with the newly acquired Micheal Turner, and help this passing game.

17 Jacksonville Jaguars: QB Brian Brohm Louisville, The jags dont have alot of needs but with Leftwich out the door, Garrard isnt what they though he was and the mystery of Quinn Gray. The Jags best bet is to draft Brohm or maybe Troy smith.

18 Cincinnati Bengals: DT Glenn Dorsey LSU, Cinci's DT situation is an ok one but not spectacular and with the only other possible need being TE and there not being to may good ones in this draft they should just go D.

19 Tennessee Titans: WR Ted Ginn Jr Ohio State, The titans have a solid group of WR but could really use a playmaker. Ted Ginn is a playmaker in everything he does, Great down field threat and a awesome Kick returner. All they need to do is keep feeding Young playmakers and this team will be a major contender for the next decade.

20 New York Giants: CB Darrell Revis Pittsburgh, The Giants overhauled the Secondary last season but most were busts and they still have holes. Revis is the best Corner left on the board so this is who they should get.

21 Denver Broncos: RB Marshawn Lynch California, Not alot of teams with the top picks needed backs so Lynch really slips even though he is a top 15 talent, The Broncos rarely if ever draft the backs in the first round but with TBell being a Huge flop and Mike bell playing like more of a Change up the Broncos would make a huge mistake by not draft Lynch.

22 Dallas Cowboys: S Michael Griffin Texas, Everyone knows Roy W cant cover anyone, but he can hit so the Girls will draft a S who can cover but isnt the biggest hitter.

23 Kansas City Chiefs: WR Jeff Samardzija Notre Dame, The Chiefs have never really had a #1 reciever and with Samardzija still on the board the chiefs would be foolish to go any other way.

24 New York Jets: DT Quinn Pit**** Ohio State, The Jets D-line is not one of the best and there worst postion on the line is DT, Pit**** is the only good one left and should be a good fit for the Jets.

25 Philadelphia Eagles: OLB Lawrence Timmons Florida State, The Eagles have very little depth at the lineback postion. Timmons is a very productive and consistant player he will be a good fit for them.

27 San Diego Chargers: ILB Buster Davis Florida State, Donnie Edwards migth be on his way out very soon and the chargers also could use some depth at the postion.

28 New England Patriots(from Seattle): CB Marcus McCauley Fresno State, The patriots will probably lose Asante Samuel so drafting Marcus makes the most sense right here.

29 New England Patriots: WR Sidney Rice South Carolina, The patriots have taken major losses at this postion despite the play of Reche Caldwell the Pats dont have many other needs.

30 Chicago Bears: TE Zach Miller Arizona State, The bears need a threat at TE and Miller is the best.

31 Indianapolis Colts: OLB Earl Everett Florida, The Colts could use some help at the linebacker postion and Everett is the only one worthy of picking in the first round left.

32 New Orleans Saints: DT Demarcus ''Tank'' Tyler North Carolina State, The saints dont have alot of needs and with the top flight corners of the board they should go with a DT because Hollis Thomas and Brian Young are just average at best.

Sorry to be insulting, but those are just some really half-assed guesses that aren't even worth posting.

You have the team with the best Gs in the NFL signing the top FA G on the market.

You have Indy spending big on a CB, which they have never done and have even said publicly they don't believe in.

You have Houston "signing" A RFA that would cost them a number 1 pick and then trading their number 1 somewhere else.

Yolu have Dallas spending huge money to fill a need they don't have.

And the chances of Atlanta trading Vick are slim, and certainly not for Randy "550 yards and a punk attitude" Moss, so they could pay him $21 mil for two years.

Just awful.

I think detroit takes Jamarcus Russell over Brady Quinn.

but it would suck for us if Dallas got Adalius Thomas, he is just a monster of a player.

i agree...Adalius signing with dallas is bad for us, man is a monster. i am hopping he resigns with bmore...:fingersx:

Why would Asante sign with the skins when he could just win superbowls every year with the Patriots? Someone said earlier it was dumb that the Cowboys would spend money on Adalius when there problem is not middle linebacker. The exact problem with the boys D is the middle linebackers Bradie and Akin. Everyone cries about the secondary there, but if you actually watch any tape its the linebackers that cant cover to save their lives. Then when they lost Ellis the linebackers could no longer get any pressure on the QB which made the situation worse. So it wouldnt surprise me if they went after a playmaker like Adalius.

Ugh . . . . just what Washington needs. Another overpaid, overhyped linebacker

Uhh...Briggs isn't overhyped. He really is a beast. IMO he is just as important there as Urlacher is. Urlacher even offered to take a pay cut if Briggs stayed. Obviously their Pro Bowl MLB doesn't think he is overhyped.

PS: Just say NO to Samuel!

Briggs isnt their mlb is, urlacher obviously. what makes u think he can play mlb w/ us? was that his original position, or would MLB be new for him here? I dunno bout him, i admit he plays w/ fire and authority but i question wether he will be as affective w/out urlacher taking off some pf the heat.

I know Briggs isn't their MLB. I was just pointing out that obviously he holds him in high esteem if he is willing to take a pay cut to keep Briggs there. As for Urlacher taking some of the heat...Briggs has more tackles this year than Urlacher. They really are a great combination. As for playing MLB I'm not sure if he has experience there or not but I don't doubt that he could make the transition. Of course that could be a risky proposition for a guy who will be demanding a ton of money.

As for the other poster asking about his speed and coverage ability both are well above average for a LB from what I've seen. He has had an INT returned for a TD ever year for the last 3 years I believe. I've seen him make some very good coverage plays against TEs and RBs.

The Skins will definitely be drafting a defensive player in the first round. Since Gibbs has been back, everyone drafted in the first round, except Campbell, has been defense. The Vick trade is intriguing though, and with a new coach anything is possible, but I don't think that he will be too eager to test the fan base and trade away Vick. I wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta uses Schaub as a way to trade up and snag Johnson or Jarret. However, I think it would be wise to wait until after the combine to draw up mocks, because that is usually what makes and breaks those entering in the draft. Besides, the boards don't slow down determining who will go in the first round and where, until after the combine anyway.

The Chiefs best guard is retireing indy will do what they need to do the past is the past Turner isnt an RFA Dallas's other outside linebacker is not getting the job done I think you should do your research before you bash someone.

Wait, which Dallas OLB is "not getting the job done"? You mean the one who was hurt (Ellis), or the 1st round pick who was coming on strong at the end of the year (Carpenter)? Which one of them is a weakness? Oh, wait....they would BOTH have to be bad for the Cowboys to need a big-money replacement, wouldn't they?

As of now, speculation is that Shields isn't retiring. If he does, do you think KC would be OK with just two Pro Bowlers at the 3 interior positions, and spend their money on their real weaknesses, WR, T, or Defense? I do.

Turner is a RFA.

Indy "will "do what they need to do". Yeah, OK.

Nice research.

3 things:

1) Like our signing, but all I see is we resigning Dockery. Not enough money for both Briggs and Samuels(or Clements)

2) Vick is Arthuer Blank's qb. Schwab will be tagged before they trade him.

3) If Oakland gets a veteran qb, they will more than likely trade down the pick before taking Johnson with the 1st overall pick.

Hope Dallas don't get Thomas. That would put Ware/ bookends in Dallas and that will hurt us.:helmet:

Nice write-up, but I just can't see us taking both Briggs and Samuel. You also have to realize that those guys are good playing in space, but GW doesn't allow that to happen. Players like that probably won't do the defense a whole lot of good until we either get a new DC or GW changes his style(will never happen). I think a good DE and good health is all the defense needs.
