ptr77
Did anyone just see Tomlinson just blow everyone off and run off the field? He sure looked classy there... I know he is upset but grow up and at least shake hands and then leave, he looked like little mommas boy.
HeHateMe
There has to be something to that. He's a class act, and I'm shocked to see him react to a loss in such a way.

THEArmchairQB
So for seventeen straight weeks he is the face of the league, the classiest guy out there. Now after a tought home loss, he doesn't stick around for the postgame pleasentries and he is a joke? BULL**** This thread sucks.
Ghost of
There has to be something to that. He's a class act, and I'm shocked to see him react to a loss in such a way. He was mad at some celebrating at midfield but my stance is--don't lose and you don't have to worry about it. Should cats not be happy they just won a close game vs. a 14-2 team? The thing is, people were trying to give him respect and he just pulled away and ran off. He's more sore because he lost than because of any dancing. Now he knows how teams felt when he was racking up garbage time TDs against them to get the record.

HeathShuler
yeah.. he's had an absolutely clean slate in his career, I wouldn't make too much of it. He was just frustrated with the loss.

ptr77
I didn't see it. Guy ran up to give him a handshake and a hug, he ran away. Two new england guys swarmed him to shake hands and meet him, he ran off. He is a very classy guy but he sure didn't look it after this game. It looked like they wanted to shake the NFL MVPs hand, they wanted to meet the league's best player, not go up and fight him or something.

You just got your ass kicked and now you're supposed to go out and congratulate the guys who kicked it... I DON'T ****ING THINK SO!!!! It promotes good sportsmanship. These nfl players help each other up after every hit, you haven't noticed this???

That was a slap in the face to him, his teamates, and the city of San Diego.. He took offense to that. What's better.. walk away or start swinging which is what I am sure he felt like doing? As for helping each other up... if I ran a team, it'd be $5K every time a player on my team helped an opponent up off the ground. That is your ENEMY, not your friend. I don't care if it's Ronde Barber helping Tiki up... that man is your ENEMY, pure and simple.
Leonard Washington
maybe the guy had tears in his eyes and didn't want folks to see? who knows? either way he can go home, count his money, and plan a helluva vacation. he'll get over it. dfbovey
I don't think you can condemn the guy when you don't know what was behind those actions. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he IS a classy guy and deserves the benefit of the doubt.
