THEArmchairQB
I read in the post this week that the team is not near a new contract with Dockery. If they do not find the room to give him a new contract and let him walk, I will be PISSED as I am sure many in the lockerroom will be as well. He has started every game for us since 2004 and has developed into a stud in the running game. His pass blocking has also greatly improved. If they let Dock walk, it will cause a lot of problems in the locker room as well as on the field. Samuels has offered to restructure in order to make room for Dock, I do not understand why they do not have him locked up yet. So, I would like to say to the front office... GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES AND RESIGN DOCKERY KEEP THE DIRTBAGS TOGETHER That is all.
The Full Monty
Agreed. Keep'em together. Dockery has really made great strides and I think he and Samuels make a great team on the left side.
skinsngibbs4life
if we let dock walk because we cant find the money, who do they expect to get to replace? it is key for not only our offense, but also for our team chemistry to get him resigned. WE NEED DOCK!!!
Jethrodsp
sign me up on this. lets try and keep our guys this time.
Stew
put me down, Im all for keeping Dock. We need some stability and continuity on this team. The Portis trade rumors are starting to scare me a little bit.

Hauss
They need to do this for a multitude of reasons. It's important to show the team that they want to keep the core guys together--even if they overpay. If he left like Pierce or Clark a lot of damage to team chemistry would be done. DCsportsfan53
I'm really worried about this. You know if we wanted to keep him, we'd have given him the money he wanted already. Something tells me this another Antonio Pierce waiting to happen. DON'T ****ING SCREW THIS UP, DAN!!! RE-SIGN DOCKERY!!!
DrunkenMaster
You can do it. Cut one injuried backup qb and you will have plenty of money to resign him.
Santana_89
If the F.O has truly learned anything from last year, they will NOT let Dockery get away. RE-SIGN DOCKERY ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TaylorPickSix
Our offensive line was beast once Campbell got in. Keep Dockery and the good thing going.

TODD
Count me in, he'll go down as a classic Clark/Pierce example if he's let go.
Hooper
Right now, he probably wants a big deal -- maybe too big of a deal. Remember, our front office only overpays for players from other teams. When it comes to rewarding its current players... well that's no fun for the Danny. He'll most likely be allowed to test the market -- hopefully in such as way that there are no hard feelings and the skins can match the best offer he gets. I heard Bram the other day say that Dock has mentioned that he wants to get a deal done before FA begins. It would be one of the first signs of our team going in the right direction if this happened. :2cents:
