Thinking Skins
these guys are just names to go across the screen until free agency starts. We will probably never hear as much as a quote from these guys cause they won't last long enough to even break a sweat - unless they're sweating out of fear of getting cut! pjfootballer
Nice to see that they found a young TE to come in to compete for a spot.Jason Here, Here. I'd like for them to bring back Robert Johnson and teach him to blcok better. I feel that was the only thing that got him cut. I loved his size and his rapport with JC in the preseason. TheLongshot
I thought I'd also add to the list that QB Casey Bramlett has also been resigned to the roster, according to redskins.com. KDawg
I don't know why everyone automatically dismisses the new signees as camp fodder. I'd agree, the majority, and quite possibly all of them could in fact be doomed. However, there is that slight chance that they make something happen in camp and make the active roster/practice squad. It's not a high probability by any stretch of the imagination, but there is a chance of it occuring, and personally I love the fact that these guys are gonna be out there busting their ass trying to make an NFL team. People always bust on our FO, well, they're doing something correctly here. Bring in young guys, who haven't put themselves on the map yet and give them a chance. Who knows, we may find a diamond in the rough or we may not. But the opportunity is there for both the 'Skins and the new signees.
PCS
Agreed with Kdawg. Wouldn't be the first time a team has done so either. If anything, gives us all something to talk about besides FedEx and Dan Snyder.

roanoker
Competition for position is a good thing. Hopefully, there will be some hungry, young player, that will make the grade. Given the play of some of the vets this year, there is opportunity...:2cents:

I never heard of any of these guys before and suspect most on this board are in the same category. I don't know that at this point we have anything to get excited about but we can always hope. Most of us fans didn't think the FA signing of A. Pierce was anything to get excited about either but he proved himself to be one of the league's best. We can always hope one of these guys will be our next diamond in the rough.
