Wow_we_actually_won
Yeah, I know, not likely, but what a gameplan! I literally had no idea what was coming next. While OS Heisman QB spent half the game on his butt, Leak never even got his uniform dirty. I hope the Skins were watching cause that was some amazing offense there. Amazing how a college team can remember all those plays and run them to perfection, but we can't make our plays work as pros. Lord I would love to see us play with that creativity and excitement - and they don't even have a featured running back! P.S., Did you see how often they threw across the middle and how well that worked? - hint, hint.
RedskinzOwnU
You'll never see a Joe Gibbs team with an offense like that. That's more patriots style football in 2003.
noshirtforyou
yeah my friend and I were talking about how well they executed their offense..kept em guessing all game and they were just so fast..i wish we looked like that :ahhhhh:
21Knock_U_Out
We already tried a Florida coach, besides if we change it now it will be another season trying to learn a new offense.

mikeyf316
Let's stop messing with what components we have in place. Do we really want to overhaul the offense for the third time in three years? What happened to the concept of continuity?

Wow_we_actually_won
And it already begins :laugh:The spread offense would get destroyed in the NFL You mean unlike OUR offense, which got KILLED in the NFL? Sorry I disagree. I think an offense like that would kick ass in the NFL. Reminds me of the old SF 49'ers during the Montana days and the Patriots when they were winnin all those SB's. They came at you 20 different ways and THEY USED THE FRIGGIN MIDDLE OF THE FIELD! (something Gibbs REFUSES to do - EVER!) Like I said, I know it will never happen. I just liked the boldness and creativity, unlike "Redskin" football (run, run, pass, punt) about 40 times a game.

The Sisko
Just what we need. Another U of F coach that runs a gimmicky offense that's wildly successful against college competition. U of F isn't that great a team. OSU simply couldn't match up with their speed. Especially so once T. Ginn went out. If college football had a real championship (i.e. a playoff system) and they'd come up against someone like USC U of F would have gotten their arses handed to them. dinzelwashington
man that play where the qb and running back rolled right and a reciever on the right snuck left on a reverse. man that was perfect timing for that play... there were so many great plays. that was a great played game. maybe snyder might take the next florida coach. ahaha yea right
Uno Mas
Easy dude, the gameplan was very simple tonight, they never threw the ball beyond ten yards. Matter o fact, they reminded me of our offense before Campbell got the nod. Dink and dunk, screens and sweeps. What effin' game were you watching tonight? It was successful because OS had to respect the speed of UF, so they played a VERY loose zone. Sure, it worked for UF, and props go to ole Urban, but that **** only gets you so far in the big leagues, as we all are very aware of by now. The Sisko
The most amazing thing to me was how fast Florida's DL looked compared to OSU's OL. The OSU OL players literally looked like they were running in mud. I just don't understand why they didn't try to pound the ball down right down their throats to wear them down as much as possible while it was still a game. Also, I thought it was interesting that the OSU defense seemed to want to be physical with the FL players but they weren't fast enough to get a good shot on them most of the time. It looked an awful lot like R. Williams trying to cover S. Moss.
RedskinInExile
Also, UF had a month to plan for one game against an overrated and overconfident OSU. By the way, F you UF. Life with Gator fans was bad enough after their basketball championship. Now I'll have to move...

MidwayMonster31
We all know how well the last Florida offensive coach did here in DC. The Skins offense is gimmicky enough as it is and let's not forget that the players will actually know how to run it next year.

fwo40
Am I missing the part where you mention that we finished with the 13th overall offense in the NFL by the numbers...and how we finally have a QB that moves the football, whom if we had all year we'd have a top 10 unit? Yes, clearly Saunders has no idea what he's doing. I can't believe people still want to blame our offense.
Mr. S
If college football had a real championship (i.e. a playoff system) and they'd come up against someone like USC U of F would have gotten their arses handed to them. I don't agree, but the game would be closer. Florida's offense seems to thrive with their strong defense keeping the score low. USC's attack could score points on that defense, but I think Florida would still win. Plus, USC's losses came to two rather average teams in Oregon State and UCLA, FLorida lost to Auburn who has remained strong despite their lack of an offense. Veretax
We aren't set up for any version of the spread right now (thats what UF runs right?) And unlike in college we don't have a Tim Tebow to back up Campbell if he gets hurt running with the ball. Unless of course you want to call Jeff Hostetler out of retirement ha ha
