Meltdown in Cowboy Nation

I'm the furthest thing from a Cowboy homer. Hell, I hate them more than most Skins fans I know. But that ball DID look different, shinier and probably slicker. No question about it.

it's all just a conspiracy isn't it? Romo sits to pee CAUGHT the ball, he just couldn't get the ball down. it isn't like it slipped through his hands.

Tell me that ball looked like every other NFL football you've ever seen, and I'll tell you you're FOS.

*edit* Brand new, unused "Duke" NFL football:

The play in question from last night:

And the shiniest ball award goes to........

Seriously, tell me which one you'd pick.

you can't even compare the two. One photo is taken in a solid white background, with little light. The other is taken with tons of light shining off the ball. How do you know that the "shine" wasn't attribute to the big lights at the stadium?

The same way you seem to "know" it was. ;)

Yeah, the guys on ESPN were commenting on the very same thing. You'd think that the Cowboys would have said something to the officials if the ball appeared to have been tampered with or otherwise did not seem to appear normal.

Oh, well...Romo sits to pee and TO will be back next year...I bet Parcells will retire...again...

Or the fact that there was more than likely rain on the ball also. Lots of big lights on something semi wet makes it shine. He botched the snap hands down, no fluke, nothing wrong with the ball, he botched it plain and simple. Oh how sweet it is

I've been trying to find other shots of "K" balls in action from earlier this season, but there aren't many out there. I'm trying to find an apples to apples comparison.

There was something wrong with that ball though. I said that last night as soon as I saw it.

Well, Im not really to mad. Not bad for a team who had "No" chance according to the media and such.

Yeah, we should've won the game. But hey, who had us knocking out Chicago and then New Orleans or Philly?

Unlikely. But hey, crap happens. Time to move on.

Dude...at least your team MADE the playoffs...

Here's a shot I took before the Monday night game this season.

Please note the reflection on the two helmets and lack of reflection on the ball.

It is still light out side and there was no rain. Helmets are always going to have reflection, they are made that way.

Please note it was NOT raining Sept 11th. If it were somehow not to standard then the cowboys shot themself in the foot, who cares the game is over and they lost. Its all called KARMA, the cowboys get away with murder and it came back to bite them.
