jrockster21
Game on. Manning respond please. Take those underneaths all the way down the field and make em pay. Why are you such a Manning fan? You got money on the game or something??
DjTj
True but even Dr. Z and Peter King wax poetic when it comes to Harrison. They used to wax poetic about Art Monk too ... well not Dr. Z so much, but Peter King wrote in 1990, "Monk had the most productive first 10 years of any receiver in NFL history."This is the year though- I can feel it- I cant wait to see his speech up there on the podium This should definitely be the year though. Both Monk and Harrison certainly deserve it, and they are very similar players - they're both Syracuse alums, and they're both quiet and hardworking guys who are always there to pick up the first down (playing opposite flashier guys like Gary Clark or Reggie Wayne). I think the more praise that gets heaped on Harrison the better it is for Monk.

jrockster21
6'5, 230lb quarterback, laser-rocket arm what more could you ask for? Actually, true story; my friend knows somebody who went to school with him at Tennessee. His nickname was "coke-can." So no, you probably don't need much else, sable. I friggin' hate the Colts and Manning...the opposite of Redskins football. In all honesty though, I don't understand the Manning hate. He is a incredible QB. Plus my dad has been a Colt fan his whole life since they were in Baltimore so I root for them when I'm not cheering my guts out for the Skins. I want him to win one before he retires. A QB that doesn't choke in big games? It was a joke, but fair enough, so I guess your QB would be Brady?

He'll win one eventually, probably late in his career when no one expects him to do anything. I don't dislike Peyton, but he's just so whiney. He's not a bad guy, I'm sure. DieselPwr44
It was a joke, but fair enough, so I guess your QB would be Brady? Well, if I had to choose between the two, how could you not take Brady? Sure, Brady doesn't throw up stats like Peyton but he also doesn't disappear in the post season like Manning does. The Ultimate prize is the Lombardi Trophy so I'd want a QB that isn't afraid to go after it.
sableholic
what a ****in drive. manning is gonna throw another pic just watch it.. 1 possession game entering the 4th is not bad at all AHEM. I'll take your 6 for 6 Green and raise you a 9 for 9? and a TD pass. Amazing drive. I'd take Brady as well.

I friggin' hate the Colts and Manning...the opposite of Redskins football. eh, I don't know - I look at like the Eagles offense and think that's the opposite of Redskins football with the gimmicky running game and west coast passing game. The Colts do a lot of play-action stuff that I think are closer to what the Redskins do and at least when Edgerrin James was there they had a power running game.I like the Colts. If not for Manning, then definitely for Marvin Harrison and Tony Dungy.

Wether he can keep it up in the next game is anybodies guess though.
dsciambi
I think the fact that the defense was on the field all first half is coming back to bite them now. Had the KC offense actually showed up before 40 minutes into the game, they might have had a chance in this game. But at this point, I think they're gonna be overmatched. Fanatic684
Brady's has had the better defenseMannings the better qb Manning has more talent, and he's the better passer, but a QB is more than that. I have never seen Brady get flustered in a playoff game like Manning seems to do every year. And Brady's had better defenses, but it's not always the defense that's cost Manning playoff games. It's his own play.

DieselPwr44
Brady's has had the better defenseMannings the better qb Manning also had Harrison and Wayne to throw to. Top 15 receivers. Plus (for years) Edge(when with the Colts, a perennial 1200-1500 yd rusher) running the ball. Exactly who is Brady's number one receiver? He has a bunch of no names he's throwing to now after the Pats got rid of his whole wr corps ( Patten,Givens and Branch) and yet he still gets his offense up and down the field to score points. Now, just who is the better of the two again?
