doom44
Parcells would be better then Cerrato so go for it! Anyone with a pulse would be better than Vinnie....Cept Parcells...he needs to fade away...The sooner the better.
Guest Knightwchmn
DON'T EVER MENTION THE TUNA'S NAME IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANYTHING REDSKINS... I DON'T CARE IF ITS PARKING CARS OR SCANNING TICKETS AT FED EX FIELD!!! :dallasuck :gaintsuck
BKSkinsFan
Maybe we hire him to sit in the upper end zone for all home games. The reason behind this? We could project the replays on his massive boobs and belly. He's the answer for our jumbotron.
Higgs44
The Giants flat turned him down... why would we want him????
Art McDonough
I think Bill Parcells is just over it. He has two SB rings and is probably tired and feels a bit like a dinosaur. He's an old school coach in a "new schoolhouse". Shame because I like the old school. I would bet he wants to get as far away from football for a while as possible. jabronijames
Ummm, Joe Gibbs can't stand Bill Parcels. They may have a respect for each other's coaching abilities, but that does not mean that they would work well together.
Thirtyfive2seven
wow. just wow. Where do they come up with this stuff.

They may have a respect for each other's coaching abilities, but that does not mean that they would work well together. What? I think another another big name and massive ego in the front office is exactly what this team needs. We clearly don't have enough chiefs.
Byner21
He would not be able to coexist with Gibbs. I completely agree.
MRMADD
This would be a good decision for a reality show--a very bad one for a football team. As long as we're not trying to actually win football games, why don't we go the reality show route? We could have open tryouts for players and cheerleaders at the same time. We could have a panel of all-star has-been judges to pick the players: Lawrence Philips, Ryan Leaf, and the corpse of Vince Lombardi. During the games, all the players would be miked. Immediately after any loss, half the players get booted out and don't even get to fly home. The Tuna could be the GM just for the pure comedy of watching him shout at Danny while towering over him. Maybe he could bump Danny with his belly while he does it. He could even keep Vinny around as the team *****. Besides, I believe that Gibbs has a 3-0 lifetime record while using players he found wandering the streets, right?
CapitalDefense
Go and look at his past 4 drafts, then compare them to ours. If nothing else he has that team very young and very talented, especially on defense. 2006: Bobby Carpenter, Fasano...nothing much to show for this draft yet, but it was there first year 2005: Ware is a stud in the making, also drafted another starting DE in the 2nd round in Marcus Spears... Marian Barber RB in the 4th round lead the team in rushing TD's .....Chris Canty DE another young up an coming DE 2004: Julius Jones, not spectaular but a 1000 yard back in the 2nd round. Nothing else spectaculer here with no first round pick 2003: Terrence Newman starting CB, Al Johnson C, Jason Witten in the 3rd round, 4th round starting LB Bradie James. Not spectacular by any means but 1000% percent better then ours especially with the 3rd and 4th round gems in James, Witten, Canty and Barber. Heck hire him as a draft consultant, pay him 1 million to work from January to April, scouting and drafting.
supadrummer
I second the statement of the gentleman from New York. I agree H. NO!!
supadrummer
I don't think Parcells as a GM is even something to talk about. But when Gibbs leaves I wouldn't mind hiring him as the head coach. Heck no to that Idea too. Thanks though At least we didn't se a thread on that. If Joe Goes its time to get a younger proven Coach. Parcell's philosophy just wouldn't fit here. he failed as Cowboy what makes you think he will win as a redskin Coach? Bad Idea all around.Llet the man stay retired! Kurd Cudins
This was my first thought when Parcells retired. it's well known he wanted to be the next GM of the Giants but was rebuffed by Accorsi. I'm sure nothing would make him happier than to rub it in Accorsi and Jones' faces by helping to build a winning franchise for their biggest rival. I was actually going to post a poll too, but figured I would get a similar response to what I've seen in this thread. I would not be suprised to see this go down. NavyDave
Ed werder reports this AM that Parcells has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Dallas after this season specifically to take a GM job. He and Gibbs have a mutual respect for each other. I am interested to hear what others on this board would think. There aren't stupid people just stupid posts...alledgedly. Parcells last won a superbowl with the giants nada with the Jets, Patriots or c the cowpokes. How many playoff games did he win while with Dallas??
