terpfan
AFC: Chargers - Tomlinson has been my favorite non-Terp, non-Skins NFL Player since his rookie season. I remember that was my first year of fantasy football and I drafted him on both of my teams. When they drafted Merriman I was a done deal to them for my favorite AFC team. NFC: Saints - Who isn't rooting for the Saints? Plus Drew Brees is my boy (from his days in San Diego) and Reggie Bush, Marques Colston, and the rest of that offense is so fun to watch. A Saints-Chargers Superbowl would be awesome.
JC girl
Chargers/Saints Possibly the Eagles. I just hope the Cowboys get the butts kicked!
CM916
No specific team, just make sure no one from the NFC East wins more than one game and make damn sure Marty doesn't win a SB because I don't want to see all the threads about it.

ldysknzfn1
Saints/Chargers in the big dance. Hopefully the Saints can pull it off...not necessarily b/c of the what they've been thru..but b/c they're the NFC team! I like LT tho...he is fun to watch and he's not gotten "TO'd"( )by his success. Go Saints..
Smurf85
Saints on the NFC and i don't know yet on the AFC.I like the ravens more so for Steve McNair.I also like the Chargers LT is a beast and he should win a SB.
theo229
"Who isn't rooting for the Saints?" Well, me for one. I am in no way part of this community circle-jerk over that team. I am hoping they're one-and-done so we can all stop wringing our hands over all the melodrama. And while they are no where near America's team, I do hope very much they become San Antonio's team soon. I'll be rooting for the Patriots (marital obligation). And San Diego. That way we'd have Super Bowl two teams scoring td's and not performing full dance routines afterwards. grrr
smitty71
Saints vs. Chargers - Chargers take it in OT, by a field goal. ps - Dallas will get embarrassed in the wildcard game - 38 to 10!

And you are rooting for the Saints to go to San Antonio... why? I'm curious if you can answer that question without sounding like an ass.
Boozie3000
All I have to say is that if you believe an NFC team wins this year you're sorely mistaken, we have nothing to worry about with any of our sorry east rivals.

#1Redskins
I couldn't find a thread on this, but if there is one, please delete.I just wanted to know, since the Redskins have obviously been out for a while, who is everyone going to root for to make the Superbowl in the playoffs? Sorry my fellow Redskins fan but I don't root for anyone other then the Redskins:logo: so to answer your question, NO ONE! Maybe you didn't find the thread cuz you misspelled pllayoffs(playoffs) on the title! Just playing with you Phatboy41......
theo229
Whoops, thanks Shag for catching that. Doh! I guess subconsciuosly I really am rooting for the Chargers over the wife's Pats. I better watch that during the games. Terpboy - I see you're one of the thousands of "readers" who don't actually read posts -- you merely skim them for your own "buzzwords" and then answer as quickly and irrrelevently as possible. I said I had to cheer for my wife's Pats because it would a might chillier in the house were I to actively cheer against her Pats after all the loyal (and monetary) support she has given my Skins. If that constitutes my grabbing the ankles for the Pats then your as imperceptive as your writing reflects. But don't fret, you've got lots of peers to find solace with. I don't actually care where the Saints move, just as long as they do. That's my opinion whether you like it or not. It's unfortunate when you encounter an opinion that doesn't agree with you and the flock you are automatically reduced to name-calling. No biggie. All you sheep are alike. Scared to death of an opposing point of view - and attack when confronted by one. I hate the saints. Always have - always will. Just because we've been subjected to a season-long media-sustained violin concerto for a minute fraction of victims of a very large disaster area, it does not mean I have to crumble like a frail little stray, throwing my principles aside for the sake of acceptance. I'm just not susceptible to melodramatic media manipulation or harassment from their clones like you. And save your response. One, I'm not interested. Two, it will very likely be off-point. And three, since you've already called me an ass and I didn't fall to my knees gasping, "Oh yes, slerpboy, you are so right and I am sooo wrong - please show me where the flock is!!" it will also be predetermined. So spare yourself the energy. :snore:

shagman
Obviously Im a Redskin fan only, and I also will route for the Seahawks this week, but as a whole, I would like to see a great Superbowl. Sure the Redskins arent in it but I think I would like to see the Chargers play the Bears. The Patriots are always fun to watch in the playoffs though, and I understand the whole New England crowd Theo. Its tough when you are pulled by the horn to route for them though. BigRay
My original pick is Patriots/Saints.. I wouldn't mind seeing the Chargers though because LT deserves it and he just seem like he is just an all around good guy. But Rivers inexperience is a concern for them. Actually I know I might catch some heat but I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles if they get there I would rather see them than the Cowboys anyday. Anyone but the Cowpukes.
