Redskins Diehard
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/more/01/03/duke.lacrosse/index.html RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Duke University has invited two of the lacrosse players accused of sexual assault to return to school as students in good standing, a defense attorney said Wednesday. Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann had been barred from attending class during the fall semester while their case made its way through court. The third player charged in the case, Dave Evans, graduated in May, the day before he was charged with raping a stripper at a team party in March. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I would tell them "no thanks"
KingGibbs
These two need to accept Duke's invitation so they can move on with their lives and continue their education. They need to put this behind them ASAP. Duke might've jumped the gun, but considering the seriousness of the accusations against high profile athletes what choice did they have? Had they not taken action there would've been complete outrage. I just hope that if this case is headed towards where most seem to think it's headed that the NAACP and that POS prosecutor do the right thing and offer these boys an apology considering they already convicted them w/out knowing the facts. Sarge
So, when is Nifong going to charge the Ho bag with perjury?
G-Prime
Frankly wouldn't need Duke, because everyone that isn't nailed down would be getting sued.

What choice did they have? Seriously? What happened to Innocent until proven guilty. Anyone can accuse anyone of anything. So because they were high profile athletes, they should have suffered consequences based on accusations. Duke royally screwed up on this one. Innocent until proven guilty no longer apllies in this country, you know that. The court of public opinion seems to have more judicial power then the actual courts anymore.
