Mercuryrising
I could see bringing him in as a consultant. Why? Just pay the $20 and get all his insight from ESPN Insider...
4thandGoal
Man, I've been thinking the same thing for years. If i recall correctly, Mel once mentioned that he'd love to take the wheel of a franchise and work his magic. I think it'd be a good idea. The problem is, the Redskins may not be the best fit. Think about it, we're one of the most high profiled teams in the league, known for doing things a little over the edge, this would probably further that bad reputation. I can her the critics now! NavyDave
I am not a Merril Hodge(sp?) fan but he said before the draft that Mike williams would be a complete bust, that he wasn't 1st round receiver material, actually he and Mel Kiper argued about it on ESPN once That was one of the few times I agreed with him and kept pointing out how Williams couldnt out run our linebackers at the time
Pungopal
Kiper is just another "talking head". Do you really think he does all the leg work for the NFL Draft? We should look at someone who is actually qualified. Maybe even someone with current ties or former ties. Bobby Mitchell might be a good choice. George Allen's son Bruce is also a GM down in Tampa.
