Skinsfan1311
The weather has ruined my plans for frying. I'm going to set up my tailgate canopy, next to the porch, and grill that sucker. Have a great holiday!
BigDaddyShoo
My wife's got it in her head to try something new this year. She's soaking cheesecloth in some wine (Reisling, I think) then draping it over the bird like a burial shroud and baking it. I hope it tastes good, cuz I hate not having my turkey & stove top! Skinsfan1311
We fried the turkey last year, it was so good. Same here...last year was the first time I fried one and it was the best turkey that I've ever had. Problem is,(here in beautiful downtown Glen Burnie MD),...the weather forecast keeps changing....from rain....to rain and wind.....to rain ending then windy..... It's past the time to fish, or cut bait, when it comes to frying....I'm not shelling out the bucks for peanut oil, propane, etc.,...only to not be able to fry it. I can, and have, grilled in most weather conditions...(high winds, 3' of snow, rain, etc.), so the grill it is! Grilled turkey is very good too.... Thanks for the laugh! I'm sure that it will turn out great......

Zguy28
Roasting. Take olive oil and rub it all over the bird and under the skin. Be liberal with the EVOO. Then bake it for at 250 degrees (to slow cook) overnight. It is so tender! Yummmm...

Tarhog
I found a grilling recipe on weber.com. Rubbing the bird down with a mix of chopped rosemary, thyme, and sage, lots of garlic, pepper, salt, a little chili powder, and some orange zest, mixed together with olive oil (they suggested butter). Then will grill it, and make a gravy with the drippings and some white wine. Oh yeah.....
