Chief Z just called and asked that I let everyone know that he is doing good but is not out of the woods yet. He will see everyone on Sunday and he wants me to tell everyone thank you and that this thanksgiving will mean a lot to him. He a lot to be thankful for and it is all due to ES.

So he hopes everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving and go redskins!

Happy thanksgiving chief. I met him here in Dallas at a game when I was a kid. My aunt is an ex cowboy cheerleader and was doing a halftime show for unted way with Gloria Estafan(spelling). Anyway in order to go to the game I had to wave a flag around during halftime which I hated but hey you do what you have to do to get to the game. Chief Z saw me in my skins hat and gave me a high five. I told him that I hated the Cowboys and he respnded by telling me that you should never hate anyone. At the time I was mad and a little embarrassed. But looking back he was just trying to do the right thing. Total class act and he took some pictures with me too.

Zema "Chief Zee" Williams has attended Washington Redskins games dressed in Indian garb since 1978. "Chief Zee" can be easily spotted getting the crowd excited, including bringing a hog to games in honor of the Redskins' offensive line. During the past 21 seasons, "The Chief" has also donated time to charitable programs for children and the elderly, earning him the official "Chief Zee Day" on November 7, 1985 in Washington, D.C
