TaylorPickSix
i agree, williams blitzes too much and i seriously cant remember one that has worked this season. when you blitz 8 and leave your corners on an island, theyre gonna get torched. but rogers wasnt even close to galloway. THEY RAN A PICK ROUTE! It happens in sports like basketball and lacross all the time...setting a pick so someone gets an extra second of separation. That's what happened on that play, and we blitzed. When you blitz 8 and you dont get in the QB's face in the first two seconds and a receiver has a pick set up with the speed of Galloway...it doesn't matter if you're DeAngello Hall or Deion Sanders. If you don't have any safety help, you will get burned for a touchdown.

XxSpearheadxX
Carlos has me as a fan. Always will - ever since he laid out Sean Alexander and those Cardinals recievers, grabbing Ints against Drew Brees and striking fear into the heart of the Chargers QB along with Sean Taylor. I know he is in a tough position, he deserves most of the criticism against him, but he will turn it around, he is too fast, strong and has unbelievable agility and leaping ability to not do it. Things will get better, the whole defense is playing below par, and I refuse to blame it on the younger players. I just can't blame it on the younger players. It is the veterans jobs to stand up and start it. Starting with the front seven stopping the run.
VegunN
I have about as much faith in this joke as I do in winning the lotto this week. I'm just interested to see who'll have more dropped balls, Rodgers or Lloyd. You can just cut that one right there and turn in your password. Rogers will learn how to catch, I'm sure of that. And as for Lloyd, everyone drops a ball now and then, I mean look at TO, the best this decade. Even when he doesn't make the catch he's still putting in 110% at trying to get that ball. XxSpearheadxX
I hope I win the lotto Dude you are the biggest hater  You act like Carlos has never had good games before, granted they were last season, but you act like everything is his fault and he never has stepped up before, he absolutely has. CR had no problem catching balls his rookie year, or at Auburn for that matter, it is just a mental thing/bad luck and he will get over it. For a Fan Base who loves to moan on and on about how "Ramsey's confidence was shattered" I'd love to see them put some of that towards this kid. SkinsWizCubsDukes
I hope he has a monster game so everyone on this board will get off his back. He has only given up 2 TDs all year and one of those was on a play where they blitzed 8 guys and left him one on one in ZERO coverage and we didn't even get ANY pressure. I am so sick of everyone bashing individual players...this is a team game, I guess we should just throw Kenny Wright or Mike Rumph in to play for him? Come on. LarryBrownsFan
CR will be all right. He's suffering from whatever the whole defense has. They'll all get better as soon as the coaches figure out where the problem's really coming from.

smitty71
Rodgers doesn't have Green's speed. Williams should know that by now and not put Rodgers in a situation where he has no help on a crossing route or a go route. Of course teams will blitz Tampa. But don't blitz with man coverage at the line with no deep help for the speedy Galloway!!! Then why did we draft him at #9 in the first round?! natem985
Just for the record, Walt Harris leads the league in INTs w/ 6 Which means he has 3 more than our whole team combined But......go Cushion Rogers!!
steve09ru
Was this worth a post? He's done nothing but rack up tackles and some deflected passes because teams keep throwing the ball at him knowing he's a weak link. No! they throw his way because he is the only one there because there is no underneath help by the linebacker or overtop help by the safety like there should be...Williams is calling horrible calls at the wrong times...any cornerback would have blown that coverage on that pass to Galloway...you know why? Because when you blitz 8..then that leaves one on one coverage and you know what happened there...they knew we were going to blitz so they called that play knowing he would be open...Hell anyone could get open on that play against any cornerback...4 steps forward...slant where there is no help...not that hard to do...but very hard to cover
steve09ru
Carlos+Steve Smith= 300yd day  only way that is happening is if we blitz 8 people leaving no one to help over the top or underneath...Why don't you people look at the plays called and the help that should be there instead of bullsh**ing on rogers

bryanjr2003
it must be blind faith cause you obviously have not watched him watch other receivers all year. hmmmm let me back up 25 yards they might get a first down over n over n over n over n over but at least it wont be a bomb........

Capt. Jack
Rogers is in a slump right now. It does seem like he's lost confidence, but I believe he'll turn it around. He'll be a good corner in time.

cdubcu
sorry to crash on your parade, but if he let said that Joey Galloway is uncheckable one on one then he has no shot with Steve Smith.... lol Galloway is said to still run a 4.25 which is crazy fast

bryanjr2003
I agree that the dline isnt doing squat and makes it tough for the dbacks on this team. But when you see McNabb throwing and throwing and throwing for first downs right in front of u that arent on designed plays it was an adjustment at the line cause they know he is tip toeing around and not ballin like he should be. and how about all the dropped interceptions those arent the dlines fault those go to brick hands himself. believe me i dont like saying this cause i am actually a fan of his but he has to pick it up when he has a chance. Yes the dline needs to pick it up as does Rogers with his 25 yard cushion
