luke1867
Todd Yoder? Who is this guy? Untill the second touchdownon SUnday I never knew there was a guy like this in this team. James Thrash also caught a lot of balls. Campbell seems to make everybody look good. Some guys are starting to seem like they do belong in the NFL. I hope ARE gets more receptions on SUnday though...he is still the odd man out.
RedskinzOwnU
We haven't had a QB that can make nobodies into somebodies in quite some time. The eagles have thrived on McNabb doing that for years. Hopefully we can do the same, and given that we have some real somebodies at reciever, Campbell should do even better. stwasm
That's what happens when you spread the ball around a little bit more and not just target on one person. I think we'll be very happy with JC.

Don't get me wrong, I liked what I saw, but we were playing a defense that has been struggling this year, and there was no good film of Campbell in this offense for people to scout.... All that said, I hope you're right....it did look like Campbell was doing a good job of progressing through his reads.....
softballer
On the first play of the game a healthy Santana Moss makes that play and we go on to win ... Loyd should have made the play. :dallasuck

HapHaszard
I think this is what happens when all you do is practice with the nobodies. You got it, now once he and the main receivers get familiar with each other, I wonder how well he will do. It should be an interesting experiment. Yeah, but the defense was better against the Panthers the week before, T-Bay is finally gelling a bit. Gotta love JC's poise though, if I didn't know he was a first time starter, I would have pegged it as his 30th start in the NFL. He was calling almost all the plays during the 2 minute rush to glory at the end too, that is what Jansen just said on the radio. Nice...
Mr. S
Hopefully this trend will continue for us, maybe we can bring back the Mike Sellars play as well.

mrtacconi
I think Campbell looked great against the bucs, and I think he has tremendous poise and is gonna be a great QB for us. With that said...Julius Peppers and the panthers Defense has got me quite nervous for him!!!

I think we'll be very happy with JC. Exactly. With Moss back in the lineup, JC can be dangerous. All the great QBs spread the ball around.
deejaydana
The true (or bigger) test comes this Sunday when he takes on Carolina with Julius Peppers and company. Hopefully we can pull this one off----either way it will be a great learning experience for #17. ONWARD AND UPWARD!
Cali Boi
I have faith in Campbell but it was only 1 game against a banged up D. He will make mistakes we just have to stick with him and he will be a top tier QB in a year or 2.
inevitable
Yup...if that was Moss running down the sidelines, that's six right there! If that was Santana Moss, he has 4-5 steps on the defender, and that ball is thrown another 10 yards in the air, becuase Jason's arm is like a bazooka. They could do it all game. Monkart
I think, also, that this is a sign of a real star in that he makes the players around him better. Then maybe we can make him a two way player QB/CB

ZoEd
Once JC has had time to get all the reps as starter he'll become even more comfortable with the receivers and backs. This alone will help build his confidence and enable him to get the timing down. At this point I'm almost positive a mediocre JC is better than a super smart MB. I just hope JC continues to improve so we can concentrate on other needs instead of who's playing QB next season.
The Dude
Does anyone know anything personal about Campbell? Like his religion, positions, marital status, etc? I hear you can get a good look into his living room if you hide in the rose bushes across the street.
Califan007 The Constipated
I think Yoder made himself look good and helped make Campbell look good...that was one freakin' amazing catch.
IChiefLikeCP26
I think this is what happens when all you do is practice with the nobodies. I really think that this truly does teach you to spread the ball out. I heard he went through ALL his progessions on some plays which is impressive to me. When you play with the backups, it also gives you confidence iun their ability, and a little chemistry... I hope he can develop that chemistry with our starters
