SkinzFoLife
I think he was correct when he was talking about the O-Line and our running game. He said something to the effect that we have not found our identity that we are trying to be two things at once. Both a downhill running team as well as a zone blocking scheme like Portis had in Denver and how Saunders always ran Sweeps that used Zone type blocking. But we all know Gibb's loves pulling guards and power running. Maas made a comment that we have a huge line and they were not suited for Zone type blocking. I agree with him, we got some big boys up front, we should be power running. Put Sellers and Duckett in the backfield and lets go back to the old Redskin Power running game. Sounds crazy but Maas actually made a good point. Crazier still is his keys to running for elections, he pretty much nailed it. We have too many coaches, we spend money carelessly and we need to stick with one QB and one offensive philosophy. But the rest of his color commentary was horrible.
IChiefLikeCP26
Wow! Maas was horrible. He ripped our whole team the entire game. He might as well have openly cheered for the Bucs. I can't wait until next year when we run the same plays with Moss and Portis healthy and he's talking about how our philosophy on offense is great. I hate guys like him, they base all their knowledge off of a team's record. Why is a team not allowed to use more than one style of a run game? I guess when they stack 8 in the box you are supposed to just run it up the gut nowadays? Yesterday was the first glimpse of what our offense is trying to do...STRETCH THE FIELD AND OPEN UP THE RUN... wait til Portis and Moss are healthy and JC has some NFL experience...this team should be unstoppable. Um his comments where not so great about the Buc's either. When both teams made good plays, he said so. But what do you want him to say about one team that was 2 - 7 and the other that was 3 - 6 ? And it really takes someone thats uneducated about football to say something about us being unstoppable after see how our D played, and how many people have pointed this out. flexxskins
That might be the only thing that he was even close to being correct about. He has to be the worse commentator on the planet. I can't believe that the networks allows someone who stammers that much sit behind a mic. He is definitely hard on the ears. This week I especially loved the the play when Betts fumbled and Maas said that as a RB you can't turn your back on a defender and expect to hold onto the ball. But when they showed the replay, it clearly showed that Betts loss the ball before he turned his back and Mass conveniently changed what he originally stated. He is horrible. TLusby
If we were 7-3 we wouldn't need to worry about him announcing our games; now would we?

skinfan61
The thing that urked me is that he bashed our team the entire game. We all know that this team sucks. I do not need to hear it over and over again during the game. I don't care how bad the team is, the commentators need to STFU about it and let us all enjoy the game.
