Not only does he have to fix his broken hand, we will also have to have surgery to fix his seperated shoulder. This will take 4-5 months to heal. We did not win with him IMO. I love Duckett's style and I think a Portis/Duckett scenario next year is better for out team. I still think Bett's would be a # 2 on another club. ThomasRoane Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 I think you're right. In Atlanta they ran a lot of stretch type plays. Big guys can't run sideways. It takes away their power. TJ can run downhill though and really beat up a defense. That's where he'll help us. Interesting article in the WP about Portis.
