authentic
At the time that i watched it live. I almost couldn't believe it. But with everything that has transpired the last couple of days, its turning into some type of historic event.
TK
I’ve got the first pitch, and I decide I’m gonna buzz him a bit. I don’t get much chance to ask him direct questions, so watch out. Why don't you ever get off your arse & head out to Redskins Park to ask anyone anything?
Larry Brown #43
1) I now feel unclean for having visited Czaban's website. 2) He didn't ask Brunell a "tough" question. It was a cheapshot. He spit in the face of a guy who probably had an inkling that he had just started the last game of his NFL career. It wasn't even a valid question, because he was essentially asking Brunell to make a coaching decision that he has no business even making. He wasn't asking Brunell to make a coaching decision. He asked if he would do something for the betterment of the team. Similar say to asking a player if he will retire or come back another season. Fair. Asking a player who's hurt will he play if he's not 100% and his performance can actually hurt the team if he would take himself out. Legit... Are you a team player or just trying to play out the string on your career... After watching the second time, those questions were even easier than I thought the first time I saw it... Just answer the damn questions, or don't talk to the media. And as far as knowing he'd played his last game. I don't think anybody knew that judging by how long Gibbs had already stuck by him. TheDoyler23
Czaban is a douche and he asked douchbag questions to a guy who almost always speaks in generalities. He acted like a big man behind a desk in a studio.

nneece
Tough questions. The truth hurts. It's unfortunate that it came to this, Mark should have been benched several weeks before based on his performance.
Martini
Bubba, I hope you lost a bet with a sig like that. The part where Czaban ponders whether he had any influence on the decision to bench Brunell is classic. HTTR
cphil006
Czaben really seems desperate for exposure. Brunell did not seem pissed off in my opinion. He remained professional and Czaben is doing his best to be funny Borat, yes? no!
fansince62
"He acted like a big man behind a desk in a studio." gee...you mean like 99.9% of the posters at ES! see LA threads over the last year for reference. Czabe asked a slightly insulting question. so what. it's not the same as asking "do you still beat your wifre?" he could have found a more respectful way to ask "are you done?"....cuz that is what everyone has been wondering and the Skins brass with their meaningless generalities never respond to.......what the *ell is this team going to do to get better. playboy1972
Czaban can go over board sometimes, but this team and fan base are so sensitive when it comes to this team and its sad situation. Other markets like LA, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, and Cleveland would have to give this guy a police escort to his car if he played like that. So don't judge. Just answer the damn questions, or don't talk to the media. And as far as knowing he'd played his last game. I don't think anybody knew that judging by how long Gibbs had already stuck by him. During Gibbs' postgame press conference, a reporter asked Gibbs who he thinks will start at QB next week. Gibbs responded by saying he didn't have any initial thoughts on that. This was actually a huge response, and a tip-off that a change could be coming, because it was the first time all year Gibbs said something other than the standard, "Mark is the man." The difference is that reporter's question was designed to get new information. It was successful. Czaban's "question" was not designed to get new information, but to get a reaction. Even Czaban admitted he was going for the high heat. If you're going for a reaction, and act like you're shocked when you GET a reaction, well you're a fool. The interesting thing is we got a lot more new information out of the simple, straight-forward question posed by the reporter at Gibbs' postgame presser than we did out of Czaban's question. But that's why Czaban is a hack and not a journalist.

smitty71
Is this website for real? Is he really this arrogant?! What a douche bag! Please tell me he didn't say, "The Black Big Ben." I am so sick of reporters having to distiguish race when comparing players!! Why can't he just say, the next Big Ben? And now everyone of course compares him to Doug Williams. Why can't he be compared to any QB? The color of his skin does not matter - it is insulting to a person to only compare them to those of their own race. James Moss
Czabe you delusional twit! You are a classic megalomaniac. Where would the team be without your tough questions? Thank you so much for saving us from Joe Gibbs. It’s funny how people try to revise history. On Riggins last night some pudnocker asked Coach Gibbs if it was “marketing decision” to start Jason Campbell. You only have to do 3 minutes worth of research to find the answer to that one. Check the news archives from September 4, 2006 and read the article Gibbs announces backup QB situation. "If we have a whole week to go and Mark couldn't start the next week, then Jason would start.” The only difference is that Mark didn’t get injured, he was demoted. Still, the above logic applies. We have a whole week to go until the next game and Mark is NOT starting; therefore, Jason is our starter.

SkinsFTW
Its funny how he linked the youtube's that someone on here made yesterday. The thing is, he is right about the secrecy. Fans can't watch the team look like ass in 8 of 9 games and not want to know WTF is going on. All we have heard all year is "We're trying, its not working but we'll work harder" Then we lose 36-22 and 27-3 with a bad win in between after scoring 3 points on offense in 2 other games this season. It's pathetic. We have probably the best offensive weapons in the league so its really inexcusable.
pointyfootball
Tough questions. The truth hurts. It's unfortunate that it came to this, Mark should have been benched several weeks before based on his performance. The Ocho Stinko comment was hilarious. If Brunell played in Philly or New York, do you think they would have waited until after week 9 to ask this type of question? All in all, Czabe cracks me up. I'll take him any day over the corporate stooges of larry michaels and the diesel on their shows. Blech.
