jmcardle1982
Thanks for the 14-13 Cowboy game last year and the 35-7 Cowboy game last year. No thanks for the 18-22 record as a starter.

redskingluvr
Mark came here at the end of his career. He had a great career and is getting to the hard part of any career. Respect is in order. Maybe some of the bitter posters are being nasty cuz they in their 30s and still don't have one. Some are in their teens and need smacked upside the head, learn some respect. You have 1400 other threads on which to be a-holes, pick one and go. It's only funny to be nasty at a time like this to lowlifes, which apparently have now gained internet access and learned to type. Sad day for us all. This thread was started because Mark is going out, this is the first step of a hard part of life for folks who hit the age barrier for their career. It was meant to honor him, which is the respectable thing to do at this point. Anything nasty and negative at that point is below classless, it is the work of virtueless pigs and lowlifes with no real future of their own. Get some honor and decency, better yet, grow a set, cuz I bet in real life u r chikin ****s, most people who r all nasty like that at wrong moments on the net lack a set and r bitter teenie weenied losers and wussies in real life......it was an itsy bitsy bitsy teenie weenie...... Bashing him and bringing up stats now that he is moving on, just shows what pathetic buttwipes some of u are. Congratulations, you ruined a thread meant to be nice, just like you probably ruined your marraige, your own careers, and spoiled your bedsheets when alone....... I have a stat for ya, one of every four posters here acted like completely self absorbed, inconsiderate, a-holes who need a smack upside the head. I am ashamed that some of your are redskins fans. Go away faster than Brunell please. Being a worthless pig doesn't make you a skins fan. It just makes you a worthless, classless pig. I swear that worthless scumbag David Martin has multiplied himself somehow.....
IHOPSkins
....How many of you are hoping something happens to Campbell so your boy can get back in there? Are you serious? I bet you wanted Brunell hurt. I hope JC kicks butt I want Brunell to support the team, and step in when needed. And I want better fans
Oxtalls
Oh yea, Boonell really led us to the playoffs last year with his 200+ yard passing games. Lets see, how many times during that 5 game win streak did he throw over 200 yards..........hmmmm NONE.21/36 163 yards 18/28 122 yards 12/20 163 yards 07/11 112 yards 09/25 141 yards Oh yea, he really led us to the playoffs with those passing stats there. Thanks Mark! if it's that easy - you F'n moron - that how come nobody else could............ever! you suck you know nothing about football - go bury yourself

A change is needed - I wish Jason well - but to turn on our own - shame on you. I don't want to hear about "how much money" you have spent - so have I - I have been a fan for 30+ years and I can't ever remember such disgrace shown by "supposed" Redskins fans - if you like to bash the Redskins so much - perhaps Dallas is where you belong. 'Nuff said by me.
BornInRFK
Those two passes in Dallas are some of the best Skins moments I've ever had. Thanks Mark.
whatmeworry
Thanks Mark. Please ignore the jackass flamers on here. You gave us some thrills. You beat the Cowgirls the last 3 out of 4. Been awhile since anyone could say that. You also got us in the playoffs and won a game there too. Been a long time since anyone else could say that too. Gigantor
Nice guys. Real nice. The guy has always been classy, even when he was benched for Ramsey, even when the fans booed him, even now that he is getting benched again. How about showing a little class too? You can take some people out of the ghetto but you can never take the ghetto out of some people.

whatmeworry
They're doing it now. They're having a pity party to commiserate with one another. Look at all their brown noses. We're just showing a little respect to a player who played hard for the team *******. I'm glad to see JC finally get a shot but dumping on someone who is already down shows absolutely no class at all.

Canadian Hog
Nice thread. Thanks Mark. You were and still are a great leader. I know you will accept your role as the backup with class and help Jason become the best he can be. I haven't been able to smile much ever since our last Super Bowl victory. You helped to change that last year. It was an enjoyable year and you played a nice role in it. Best of luck.
zoony
Thank you Mark Brunell for everything... you are a great person and a great QB. I wish you all the best.
GlennBrenner
I don't get some of you on this board. Most of us agree that Brunell hasn't played well enough for us this year. But is that a reason to take personal shots at the man right after he gets benched? If someone did that to you when you get laid off or fired you would be pissed and rightfully so. Yes, Brunell should be benched. But to kick a man when he's down is below classless. Anyway, this thread was started to THANK Brunell for his positive contributions over the past three years (yes there were some). Why can't you respect that? I guess you weren't cheering last year when we beat the cowboys (twice), or when we beat Seattle in OT, or when we went on our 5 game winning streak to get in the PLAYOFFS for the first time in six years! Even though I'm happy Campell is starting, I can find things to appreciate about MB. He broke the Dallas jinx and got us 10 wins and a playoff berth, for God's sake. Let your hatred for the man go already! We got our wish, HE'S NOT STARTING ANYMORE!!

skins fan1010
Yes, Redskins fans, the time for Jason Campbell has come. But let us give Mark Brunell the respect he deserves as his career comes to an end. As we prepare to say fairwell to Mark Brunell, let us also say thanks for the memories. I couldn't have said it better. The bashers were wrong to call for his benching before now. And, now is the perfect time for the move. Good job. Thanks Mark
tpgskins
I hope Mark sees this and ignores the mean-spirited posts here. You did a great job for us Mark, and gave us a season none of us will ever forget last year. You truly played your guts out, even when you were getting beat up this year. Some of us know the real story... some of us will turn the blind eye and blame you for everything. Just know that we are out there, and that we appreciate everything you've done so far. Most of all, thanks for being such a classy guy in the face of so much criticism from the second you got here. You played well even with so much hate thrusted towards you. All this will do is give you the needed break from all the punishment you'e taken both mentally and physically from our play as a team in general. We know it's not your fault, and once again, thank you for all the great plays you made with the team. Glug glug glug ... mmm, that's good Kool Aid! You always make it just right, Coach Joe! tpgskins
I wish Mark the best..he has been a consumate pro...honorable, a true class act and gentleman. It is time to move on and see what our young QB has and begin his NFL maturation process. Consumate pros retire when their skills leave them. Think John Elway. Brunell selfishly stayed around three years longer than he had a right to. Jacksonville's personnel people recognized this. Too bad Washington's didn't. tpgskins
Wow, this post not only made me relive some of those wonderful memories, it truly made me respect Mark as one of the better QB's in a while. Thank's s0crates, I'll look forward to reading some more of your posts, this is one of the classiest posts I have ever seen on this message board and show's how your are a true Redskins fan. Yeah, I can't wait for Socrates to send one of his patented love letters to Adam Archuletta once he's done. And aren't you behind schedule in getting your Danny Wuerffel post up? Those were some good memories. And Kent Graham. What a pro. Thanks for the memories, Kent! We celebrate a bum. This is who we are. I'm sick.
