PleaseGoForTheWin
Brunell has done a lot for the team and I hope that he can continue to provide valuable support on the bench. Had Saunders not entered the equation I think Mark would be playing better, but it's clear now that he's not a good fit for this system and it's time to move on. But Mark has tremendous heart--I think to the tenacity he showed near the end of the Seattle game last year when our rally came up short--and I'll miss him. I wish he (and Gibbs) could have started together in DC a few years earlier. Brunell used to be a beast.

s0crates
thanks brunell for taking us to the playoff and getting campbell ready *kinda* Yeah, thanks for never taking the blame. Thanks for missing the deep receiver 90% of the time. Thanks for finding Ladell Betts in the flats when it's 3rd and 10. Thanks for leading this offense to an NFL record worst in a playoff game.Yeah, we have a lot to be thankful for today. Pathetic.... Yeah, thanks for the memories...all 2 of em!! YeahBye!!!!!! bye bye Brunell Nice guys. Real nice. The guy has always been classy, even when he was benched for Ramsey, even when the fans booed him, even now that he is getting benched again. How about showing a little class too? The guys has had a great career. It is sad to see it come to an end. He played hard for us and did some good things. He is a great guy who just got the bench. Do you really need to gloat about it?

WVUforREDSKINS
Brunell you have been worthless from day one here. Retire old man. You ruined the reputation of a legendary coach and kept us from the SB. You suck. That was uncalled for. The man is obviously hurt because his career is basically done. I guess you don't feel for him at all... Oh, and no one can never ruin Gibbs' reputation.

Beaudry
Brunell must have stollen your class, you people have none He might have stolen our class, but he never took our field vision, accuracy or arm strength.
SkinsOrlando
Unfortunately Mark your body can't do it anymore, I've never doubted your heart or your talent but age has caught up with you. Thank you for letting me yell "come on old man" at the top of my lungs, you are a class act, now tutor the kid and expand your play that way. Thanks Mark. EersSkins05
He might have stolen our class, but he never took our field vision, accuracy or arm strength. I want our 3 yard dumpoffs back, though. We might need those on 3rd and 2 or something.
DjTj
Thanks Mark! You played hurt, you endured endless criticism, and you took us back to the playoffs for the first time in many years. You were part of some great Redskins memories and your two long bombs to Santana Moss on Monday night will live forever in Redskins lore.

SC3
Thanks Brunell for the two heartbreaking wins against the Cowboys. Thanks for the 35-0 against the Cowboys last year. shagman
Some of the fans here are PATHETIC- Mark Brunell had a great career and was a great leader and I would think that some of the fans would give him his props. In a day that is probably the hardest for him, you kick him while he is down. Very Nice gentleman!! Have some %#^$%@* class people. I wanted JC too but damn. Betterman
I can say i cussed MB more than i cheered for him. However, he helped us get to the playoffs last year. He handled one of the toughest job in DC with class and dignity. I hope he stays around as a #2 guy before he retires! THANKS MARK!!
RedskinInExile
Here here! Mark, I know a lot's been said about you recently--not much of it good--but I do appreciate the good times. That win in Dallas last year was something of legend. I hope that Campbell and Moss have the same kind of connection you and Moss had--well, 2005 You and Moss. And we did make the playoffs! Enjoy your retirement
honeydont
Most of you pukes who bash Mark Brunell today the day of his demotion dont deserve the Washington Redskins as your team. He gave it all he had and when Jason starts making rookie mistakes that Brunell would never have made you low lifes (you know who you are) will damm Campbell too. Thank you Mark Brunell you made the playoffs possible last year, Our family loves you.
