Skinsfan1311
can people just admit for once that not all people pissed off at the Skins are fairweather fans? This team is getting pretty rediculous, and all the fans just assuming we are fairweathers are plain wrong. :applause: Agreed. I'm pissed as hell at my beloved Skins right now...but that doesn't make me any less of a fan.

Tastes Like Chicken
If Campbell is not the starter for the next home game, then those of us who go to the game will have to set up something. I mean, come on this is ridiculous. Tony Romo sits to pee is cutting his teeth and already has a head start on JC. McNabb is in his prime and Eli has already been broken in. We are way behind the 8-ball in the NFC East.
ldysknzfn1
I am disappointed in the performances this season and was really ticked off at them yesterday...but I really don't think that 1 or 2 or for that matter 10 or 15 people not buying Redskins stuff is gonna make a difference. Don't you know for every jersey you don't buy someone else will?..I'm sure that the people waiting on the list for tix will be more than happy if some of you don't purchase tickets...I know I would be. I understand your being ticked and upset...but believe me for every dime you DON'T spend...someone perhaps like me will...so you're only depriving yourselves not the Skins... Maybe the paperbag over the head thing may send a bigger statement..it certainly will attract media attention... I will be a fan for life...I have been for over 30 years and I could never turn my back on them...I can't even buy other teams stuff...I'd feel like a traitor...It was hard for me to buy my daughter her Titans jacket 3 years ago b/c she "liked their colors" ( I know ..don't say it)...I bout got sick...so boycott all you like it won't make a bit of difference but you'll have money for other things.. I support my skins!..No matter what...Hail!:point2sky :point2sky :point2sky

desioreo87
Can I have your tickets if you aren't using them? Even though you are half-joking your post is still the exact reason why mwill's boycott won't do a ****ing thing. Because people who are on the weightlist for 5+ years will gobble up the chance to go to redskins home games because it is exciting and fun (at least in the 1st half). I have only been to one game and woud love to be a season ticketholder. We would have to have a majority of fans to boycott for snyder to even feel a minimal affect. Sinclair
hey man im as mad as you are...but someone has to be the worst team in the NFL...when its your team sticking with them in the nastiness is what makes you a TRUE fan.
RedskinzOwnU
There is nothing wrong with boycotting the skins. It doesn't make you less of a fan. Sometimes, to improve your favorite team, you have to take drastic action. When leadership fails, it's up to the masses to provoke change. This isn't a boycott simply because the skins "suck," it should be a boycott to remedy the systemic infestations and failures to function properly inside the redskins organization. They need to entirely rework their personnel department and front office. I think most of the coaches should stay, but they should be just that - coaches. No Vinny Cerratos, no vice preisdents of football operations, just general manager and head coach, each doing their respective jobs.
dockeryfan
I am boycotting buying skins items until Gibbs start putting foot to the a$% of those high price slackers. I am tired after every loss players saying " I got see the film", But they never say that after a win. We suck on all phases and the coaches suck too. How can you have a 12 million coaches and get one dollar worth of effort. Snyders will not get another penny of my money until he gets a better product on the field. Good. What a tool response this is. I say good riddance and GTFO you fair weather fan. I'll piss and moan about the skins all week long, but I'll still be there at the Carolina game. Because that's what I do. I'm a fan of a lousy team right now. Right now the team needs hope. Campbell = Hope. We can hope the line begins to learn how he moves around in the pocket, and hope the receivers develop some chemistry with him. Hope is a powerful thing. It can take a sucky season and transform it. Ask Dallasfan.

Being in the Army, I have been stationed in place where it seem I was the only Redskins Fan. I want a better Product on the field. Yesterday the Skins were beating the Eagles on the stat sheet, what does that tell you about the Eagles? They suck. So does the Viking, and Titans. So I hope you get a clue and see that the Skins are not good. After they were builded up to be the "Next Greatest Show on Turf"
BuryYourDuke
Look, I love the passion, but the "boycott the Skins" thing has to go. It's ridiculous. Sure, if you could make everyone stop buying skins gear, and make everyone stop going to the games, maybe something would change...but what? Snyder wants to win just like you do. Plus, to be redundant, it's ridiculous. Maybe the Constitution Party candidate will get elected president in 2008 as well. Boycotts never work. 3rd Party candidates never get elected. Idealism is great, but the best thing for skins fans to do is look in the mirror and realize we are powerless. We are fans, cheer loud, be depressed, then cheer loud again. Bleed burgundy and gold. kwitt
To all of you "I'm boycotting" and "I'm done with this team" so-called fans here is something to keep in mind: It is easy to root for your team when things are good. When things get ugly, like now, we all get to see who the real fans are. Maybe we should start documenting who these people are so when things turn around we will know who you are. In the meantime, I suggest you look for another team because I think it may be a while before this mess gets straightnened out. :logo:

FedExFielder
I'll keep watching if Campbell plays, I wanna see the future. But I really see no point in watching Mark Brunell run this team into the ground week in and week out. I've spent too much money finding places to watch it. Enjoy the ride on whatever bandwagon you hop on. I find your posts don't match your name well...kwitter. BTW, you should really relax with all the waving of the war flags against other Skins fans. What is it about people that when they see others in a bad way, they wanna kick 'em while they're down? I think the original poster may be on to something here. We, as a fanbase, have spent more money in the last 13 years on dead batteries, defective watches, & broken down cars then other fans have on WINNING franchises. This team has failed to perform up to expectations for it's consumers. How else can a consumer demand a change? By effecting the money. I don't think in any way, shape, or form, did the original poster say that he was abandoning ship. Merely that he was not paying for the ride anymore. While it's true that 1 person boycotting really won't matter, 1 person can influence many & if 1 person can influence ENOUGH, an effective boycott could be staged. Not saying it's probable, at least not yet. But at this point, I believe anything is possible.
Guest mwill008
No one is bailing b#@hes, but the team needs to be truthful with their fans. We have an aging O-line, a weak secondary, a weak D-line, and a QB that can not throw it down the field. We have not draft picks to fill crucial backup positions and the our salary cap is almost maxed out. I want a better effort from our team
