Things I don't understand.

I don't understand why we're losing. It doesn't make sense.

We have a Hall of Fame coach.

A "great" Assistant Head Coach - Offense.

A "great" Assistant Head Coach - Defense.

We have all this great talent on both sides of the ball.

So why are we still losing?

I don't understand.

It is the play calling?

Is it the execution?

Is it the design of the offensive plays?

Is the defense now predictable?

Are we being out-coached? If the answer to that is "yes", how can that be?

Is it really as simple as blaming one or two players on either side of the ball? Don't they play as a team?

Are the players not motivated?

Will someone please explain it to me?

What am I missing? I don't understand. It makes no sense.

It does not make any sense at all. Perhaps the world really is coming to an end.

All I can think of is that we have too many chiefs and not enough indians. Too many big name players, not enough young talent, no unit cohesiveness, even though alot of you would disagree with the last one.

I don't get it either. On paper we should be winning, we have an all star cast out there, but as much as I hate to say it, not an all star coaching staff. They are afraid to call the playcalls that we have been screaming about all year. Not throwing the ball deep, whether that be brunell or not, I don't know. One week they'll go deep, and the next it's nothing but short stuff.

Too many inconsistincies from this team. I'm sick and tired of it. Tired of having my friends rub the losses in my face year after year, tired of the win 1 lose 3 strecthes, tired of getting on the emotional highs week in and week out, going into the half with the lead after a playing a good first half, only to come out and lay an egg in the second.

The skins will always be my team and I'll stick with till the end, and like you said, that may very well be soon!

It's time to face it: We're just not a good team. Everyone overestimated our talent, and our coaching staff has done a terrible job. Our O line is ineffective, our defense can't make a stop when it matters, our QB is limited and is playing in an offense that doesn't suit him, our star running back and best player has been hurt all season, even when he's been playing. To top it off, our team plays without passion and discipline. This season has been a perfect storm - and we won't even get the benefit of a high draft pick that all the other crappy teams will. Things look pretty bleak right now.

Well, for one, our defense doesn't know how to make plays. It doesn't have that killer instinct. I believe we are last in the league in interceptions and sacks - there is no way a defense like that will help win you football games. Our defensive line doesn't get any pressure on the quarterback, which wouldn't be such a problem if it was as steller at stopping the run as in years past. Amongst our linebackers, only one of them is really a playmaker in Marcus Washington, but teams can easily just run away from him. We have a 34 year old cornerback playing at strong safety, and we have an incredibly undisicplined but talented youngster playing at free safety - which wouldn't be such a problem if he made one big play for every big play he gives up, either through personal foul, getting beat deep, or taking a blatantly bad angle on the ball. And to add to all of this, we have no depth at cornerback and our starters are sincerely underperforming.

We are an undisciplined team as a whole, we definately lack that killer instinct that keys to the ball and makes interceptions and gets this squad off the field after third down. Our blitzes are constantly picked up (did you learn anything today from your opposing defensive coordinator today, Mr. Williams?), our tackles are consistently shed, and our coverages are consistently beaten.

We need an upgrade in talent, but we have proven time and time again that a free agent overhaul does not work. What we need is our high first round pick to go to the defense (and then for Williams to actually play that first round pick instead of having him rot on special teams), Rocky to come in for Holdman, a free agent cornerback to be signed, and for our coaching staff to coach up this defense far beyond what they have done so far. Chemistry should only help this team, and we have enough young blood to have them grow as a cohesive unit.

And also, maybe not rewarding this team the shortest preseason in all of the NFL

We have overrated talent and absolutely no depth. We overrate positions where minimum talent is needed, like WR and DB, while ignoring the Lines and QB.

We do have some truly great players, like Portis, Moss, Cooley, Randle El, and I still am a fan of Washington and Taylor.

I don't hink anyone can pin-point it--and it is not just the Qb--it goes beyond that. If you look at every component on the team--the only consistent unit is the punt coverage team and what Randle-El can get out of any punt retrn--that's it. Everything else has been flawed.

It's simple my friend. We spend too much time on acquiring skill positions and overlook the offensice line. Our line stinks, particularly Jansen and Thomas. We spend too much time giving hype to "good redskins" ie citizens and not facing the fact that they cannot play. I've said it ove and over, so long as we keep this line we're not going anywhere!

You think that Thomas stinks? What???

Jansen is an above average Tackle as well so I just don't know why you would say that these guys stink.

The limitations of our QB is the #1 problem. The 2nd problem is the complete lack of a pass rush.

I think you're wrong. Moss, Cooley, Lloyd, ARE, Sellars, Washington, Taylor, Griffin...none of these players suck.

We have a terrible QB, and we're getting old on the lines.

what good is having a bunch of talented players that can't win a game when you put them together. The skins are bad in every aspect of football, except Special teams. That has been the ONLY bright spot this year. The rest of it, even the coaching has been gross and leaves everyone with tons of questions.

The O line is just ok. The D line is TERRRRIBLE. The secondary is subpar.

Where is portis going to run to with that line blocking? What WR can get the ball with that O line protecting the QB?

And we have no draft picks lol, wonderful. And someone tell me what exactly does Adam Archuleta do?

I'll help you understand.

We have a qb who is old.

We have an offense coordinator who calls bad plays.

We have a weak o line.

Our coach does not dicipline the team.

We have an owner who only cares about money.

We have a FO that got rid of a lot of good, young, defensive prospects

We have a D coordinator that can;t readjust once his system is figured out.

We have a defensive front that gets pushed around like rag dolls

We have a linebacker core consisting of 1 good LB, 1 decent LB and one horrible LB

We have one safety that is old, one who got demoted, and one who is dumb as a brick

I'll stop there.
