bulldog
again, for the doubters........the Redskins have failed to score ONE offensive touchdown in THREE NFC East road games this season. even the NorvSkins at their leanest managed to do better than that. Underwater Ally
They are trying to do everything for Brunell. For Brunell or TO Brunell? Changing things up so much on a QB who is at the end of his career doesn't strike me as a good idea.
Capt. Jack
I would be very dissapointed if Campbell doesn't start against Tampa next week. I would like to see Campbell and Duckett alternating with Betts start.

Supreme Wu
Hate to break it to you but its those of you that think a qb change is gonna make this team better that need to hit the snooze button. Keep dreaming pal if you think that theres 1 problem. Try the entire defense and the whole offensive line. The season is over though. Are you saying you DON'T want Campbell in the game even now? Do you think Brunell will turn it around and start again next season? That's the only reason I can imagine someone wouldn't want Jason to start getting reps asap. bulldog
with the competitive portion of the season over there is no real argument to be made for continuing to start Brunell. the reason you don't replace the secondary is you don't have a Campbell or McIntosh on the bench to bring in and groom for the future. since we gave up so much to get these young players there is no reason not to go forward with them and build for 2007. Brunell and Holdman will not be back in 2007.

Im just saying that there are alot of folks on here with Brunell blinders on. He is far from the only serious problem on this team.

hail2skins
Brunell will not be back in 2007. Hate to say it, BD, but there's not guarantee JG won't bring Mr. Super Smart back for training camp, and what if he beats out Campbell?
bulldog
Brian Mitchell is correct that Gibbs at this point is endangering his legacy by continuing to allow the drift we have seen on this team without making any changes. We are beyond the point where the team merely has to huddle together and watch film to improve. This veteran team in some key spots has aging players or miscast players that need to be replaced/sat down because their performance is hurting the team's progress. It is time to come clean and admit what has been obvious to everyone else - that some guys are just not getting it done and that there are consequences to not doing your job. ceviker
I hope Brunell runs and cries back to Jacksonville. I blame this season and last season (I'll explain in a bit) solely on one man. Not Brunell, but Gibbs. If Gibbs never broguht Brunell in, Ramsey would have had some confidence the 1st year and played the entire season. I doubt we would have made playoffs, but we would have built some chemistry. Last year, we wouldn't have drafted JC because Ramsey proved that he was our guy, we would have kept our draft picks, and Ramsey would really know he's our guy. I guarantee you Ramsey could have AT LEAST gotten us to the playoffs like Brunell. This year, Ramsey would FLOURISH under the Al Saunders system. He is the perfect QB for the system. Pocket passer, canon of an arm, great long-ball, not afraid to make any pass on the field. <sigh> What could have been...

skins#1fan1984
I'm soooo sick over that game, I do not know what the pin pointed problem is but I do know Gibbs has to fix it fast. lets face it, this is most likely Brunell's last year and the chances of us making the playoffs is not good, so yes!!, lets get campbell starting so he can get some experiance. I'm not giving up on my team, i'm just looking at facts. win or lose i will always be at fedex home games watching our boys play.

WideReceiver25
The way the Skins are they would probably start Collins if they changed but I don't see how it could hurt them. I still want to see Campbell play.
MonkFan8
I'm pretty sure Betts, Duckett could be a fairly potent combo. Probably more potent than a 75% healthy Portis. If JC can control the ball and not make mistakes they could play well. I just hope Brunell doesn't trot out on the field next Sunday.
bbuzz1962
Are you trying to say you know more about football than a HOF head coach? I'm truly disappointed in you Bulldog. Quit bringing up the past, and the damn hall of fame bull****. The hall of fame hasn't done a damn thing for this sorry as excuse of a team this season. Gibbs may reenter the Hall of Fame for being the most stupid dumb ass coach in the league. He has allowed Mark Brunell to dictate what this offense can run, which is ****, and a 3-6 record. Brunell has a losing record as a Redskin, so yeah, maybe he does know more than an Hall of Fame coach!!

MrWill
I'd love to see Jason in there, but if you think you're going to see anything magical, I think you're probably mistaken. I would like to see JC just to get a feel for whether or not he IS the future. Whenever I see the first down stripe 10 yards away on 3rd down, I start thinking about how little confidence I have in MB being able to complete that long of a pass. I think that going with a guy that has a better arm AND better mobility might be a better situation for us. MB isn't getting any better, and no Portis certainly won't help matters any. I see us winning 7 straight as increasingly unlikely, and the more time we give JC this year, the more prepared he will be next year. There, I said it......now prove me wrong JG......PLEASE!
