JoeGibbsThickandthin
What would be the benifit? That means Cooley is out of the game.
RiggoReincarnated
I'm also surprised that Fauria hasn't been used more as a pass catcher.
dcsmooth
Is Patten even activated on game day anymore?...lol David was listed as probable.
Mr_ Skinshead
I haven't seen many if any 4 Wide Out Sets this season? Any idea why we don't put in Moss, Lloyd, Randle El, and Patten in simultaneously on occassion to stretch the defense?I don't think many defenses could cover all 4 adequately. Uhhhh, because they'll trip over each other in 10 yard pass routes?
DWinzit
I'm also surprised that Fauria hasn't been used more as a pass catcher. I agree, although that wasn't what he was brought here for and last week he was too bust getting owned by D. Ware to get off the line. At some point in a tight game you may see him catch a couple! FootballGuy2677
The only difference between the starting 5 in 2003 and and 2006 is at center! And how good has Rabach really been?:whoknows: Rabach has been good...
FootballGuy2677
So I guess the theory is that it shouldn't take our wideouts that long to get separation, but you also have to remember that Samuels serves as little more than a speedbump to any quality DE. Samuels can handle any defensive end in the game. The only problem he has is with speed rushers.
NewAgeSkins
Samuels can handle any defensive end in the game. The only problem he has is with speed rushers. Isn't the definition of a good DE a speed rusher? By your logic, Samuels wouldn't be able to handle 90% of the DE's we face....
RckandRoll
Well we have the wideouts now. Why not use them sometimes? It's not a bad idea to throw out 4 wideouts and run a gut play sometimes. OR maybe flood one side of the field, etc. Thing is, if you have the tools, why not use them every-so-often? :eaglesuck
