Sorry, but I think bets for things like signatures on messageboards amongst rival fans of teams shouldn't involve points. Either you back your team or you don't.

I don't want the 6.5 points. Basically, I already know what you are doing. Even if the Eagles win straight up, in the future, you will talk about how you had to give me 6.5 points even though the Eagles were favored by 7.

Don't you see that I clearly see right through every ploy you come up with?

My final offer: The bet is straight up, no points, or there is no bet.

I have made many signature bets in the history of this forum. Find ONE....JUST ONE where points were involved.

Again, just because the Eagles are going to win by 10 doesn't mean I want a signature bet with those terms. Think about it, Bubba.

The Eagles win by 7 yet I have to wear a Redskins signature for a week because they didn't cover? :doh:

except you are leaving out one VERY IMPORTANT POINT

you repeatedly have bragged how the Skins haven't a chance, that the Iggles will win by AT Least 10.... and several other hollow boasts (not to mention having all the game advantages in the eagle favor to begin with)

Don't let Westy fool you, he made such a fool of himself backing down after his huge boasts, he had to try and save face. If he hadn't stuck his foot in his mouth about points..... he would have taken them in a NY minute :laugh:
