NYSkins23
The stat that Louis Riddick brought up on Redskins.comtv about Andy Reid being undefeated after byes worries me though. Yep, McNabb is undefeated after a bye! Time to change that stat! :logo: Hail
Walking Deadman
You recall wrong. He was never a #1 or #2 for that team. Wrong, he was #1 the year before TO came to Philly.
Tastes Like Chicken
The Eagles are 7-0 after the bye week C'mon Bubba, you're the resident homer/glass is overflowing guy around here. Give us some hope my friend!:eaglesuck
the burgundy and gold
There is absolutely no irony associated with the fact that the Eagles have never beaten a Mark Brunell-led team.:rotflmao: i was waiting for someone to point that out
JaimeDeCurry
Yeah, James Thrash saw a lot of playing time. I doubt the guy played on the first team very often. Vincent always played with the first team and not only that but he was a team leader. Don't compare Trash to Vincent unless you want to risk sounding like an moron. You sound like "an" moron every time you post. Thrash was McNabb's #1 wideout before he came back to Washington. If you're going to accuse someone else of making a big mistake regarding a player, make sure you aren't making an even bigger one. Saying Thrash didn't even play on the first team very often when he was the #1 or #2 receiver the years he was there doesn't make you seem very intelligent. Not that it's obviously a big concern of yours.
tenken627
It's been a long time since Troy Vincent and James Thrash played for Andy Reid. I think they both left Philly after the 2003 Season? After Carolina beat Philly in the NFC Championship game, the last game at the Vet? That was 3 years ago. Jim Johnson is still there, but Brad Childress has left. And the amount a unit changes grows each year. Philly's offense and defense today is nowhere near the units that Thrash and Vincent played on. They may call out some general tendencies of certain players or coaches, but they wouldn't be pointing out anything the coaches wouldn't know themselves, being that they are in the same division and play each other all the time. It's not like they have a "supposed playbook from 2005" of Andy Reid's offense or Jim Johnson's defense to give Gibbs or anything.
bulldog
the Eagles are 4-4 not 8-0. I don't think either side in this game has to have any 'inside' edge to beat the other.
LoudMouth12thMan
Eagles are 7-0 after a bye according to ESPN, so lets hope that these kinds of stats don't mean a thing...accept for the Brunell lead team stat thing HTTR
3sbs3diffqbs
There is absolutely no irony associated with the fact that the Eagles have never beaten a Mark Brunell-led team. The Mark Brunell that is constantly ragged on and doubted on this board is the same Brunell that has never lost against the division rival we need to beat this Sunday. I think that's what he was getting at.
philal0102
The stat that Louis Riddick brought up on Redskins.comtv about Andy Reid being undefeated after byes worries me though. Well Parcells was 77-0 when up by 14 in the 4th quarter.... we ended that one didnt we?

THEface
Under Andy Reid, the Eaegles are 8-0 after a bye. i think that stat speaks louder than the brunell stat. coaching wins games, not old washed up QB's.
