fuji869
We all saw Nick Novak’s game winning go right then curve in to make it at the last second. Were the fans on the right of Novak blowing the ball back on course? Those fans that were on sitting in that area be honest and speak up!
SKINSBABY2005
I was holding my breath, I know I didnt cause it to curve back in.
redskins55
That kick was sick.. I lost sight of the ball after seeing it sail right. When I didnt see it cross the fans from the far end zone angle, I knew that it had a chance. Then the refs raised their arms... It was crazy! SC3
Even watching the game in HDTV, I couldn't tell if the ball made it in. I had to go with the crowd noise. What made things weird was there was no wind at the goal posts. Maybe there is an invisible whirlwind on the 10 yard line.
flexxskins
I don't think that coach can take much more of stuff like that. He wasn't looking too good when they stood him up to tell him that we had won.

I saw it looked good at first...then tailed right and was even w/the right post...then it curved left...i wasnt sure if it had the depth. I saw the fans going savage right behind the endzone and heard it simply put.......... J.Buck: Good. REDSKINS WIN.

Jofizz
I'd like to know how many of our fans left after the pass from Romo sits to pee to Witten to set up Dallas' "game-winner?" Anybody who was there care to give an answer?

I didn't see anyone in our section actually leave. There were a fair number of people who stood up to watch, though, and probably keep going if it went in. But, the only people I saw actually leave did so at the beginning of the 4th quarter because of the distance they had to drive to get home. When I was at the Skins/Jax game, a number of people left at the end of regulation. I was very disappointed.

skinsfan44
I hardly saw anyone leave before the game ended in section 328, along with 327 and 329. When Novak's kick went up and started to go a little to the right, I was starting to lean towards the left to help it go in. I was on the other side of the field from where the kick was made and I saw it turn to the left as it got close to the goal post, but I was wondering did it have enough distance to make it over the cross bar. Was not sure until everyone went nuts in that end zone and I saw the ref’s signal "good." :point2sky Then the celebration began. That was an amazing end to that game. :dallasuck
bbuzz1962
Most kicks have a natural curve at that distance. That's why I couldn't understand after missing the 49 yarder, he cut it so close again from the same point on the field. Divine intervention made that kick good. I don't think Novak did a single thing different on his angle. I'll take it.

Darth Tater
clubs, On a kick that long, you always try to play the hook. You hit it right with enough power and enough lift, it'll hook.
Tastes Like Chicken
I sit b/w the 10-15 yard line on the right side of the goal post, 5 rows from the field. It is very difficult to judge kicks there- everything bad looks good and vice versa. People were actually celebrating the first Novak kick that missed- that's how tough it is to tell. A bunch of us were standing up on our chairs during The Kick so that we could get a clear view of the refs. Their arms raised simultaneously with the fans in the back of the end zone, and then ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!
BAFGA
at the Seattle game last year, I was right behind the goal post, waving "block that kick"your welcome Nation I was at that game, as well as Sunday's game. I remember saying to my wife as Vanderjagt was lining up for the field goal, "Maybe he'll hit the upright". She was hoping, too. Last year when that ball clanked off the post it was a sound I'll always remember. Mainly because we were online with the goalpost. That was a great game to be at, mainly because we went to 3-0 and having everyone so happy after we won in OT. Then on Sunday, the ball being blocked by Vincent made a noise, almost like a thump, but it was drowned out by the crowd almost instantly. I was hugging my wife saying, "We blocked it!" and all she was saying was, "RUUUUUUUUUNNNN!!!!!" Man, what a moment. The confusion afterwards about the penalty and the untimed down made it even more memorable for me. As far as the kick goes, it seemed like that ball was a lot straighter than the kick from a minute before. I didn't realize it was so close until I saw the highlights on TV when I got home.
