#1SkinsFan
Garrads record as a starter for the Jaguars in 5-1, while Leftwich's record is 24-20. He's actually 6-1 as the Jags starter, with his one loss coming to the COlts last year.

chow184
i would think he would seek a trade... if the jason campbell experiement doesn't pan out this year, and with our run of trading draft picks, do we gamble on byron? he's a local guy, he's a great player..from our history of trades, this doesn't seem that far fetched yup, give him 8 or less games to prove himself.......
prophet
Samwich would get eaten alive behind our line.
nightbird
If he gets benched, why would we want him? Oh never mind you're right. Let's trade our first round picks in 2012, 2013 and 2014 for Leftwich. And let's definitely do it before we know how good Campbell is or isn't. I need a drink. Audible_Red40
No more QB's!!!!!! Give Campbell a shot before we go out and waste more picks or money on another cast-off.
Capt'n Obvious
We dont have to take every QB that will become available. We dont even know what #17 can do yet. I agree with Hooper as well. Leftwich is very immobile and very injury prone. Why would we pick him up? Because he is from the area?
fwo40
Yes, let's take another Jags QB on the way down.... Kidding, he'd be an upgrade over Brunell for sure, but cap cost and trade cost is something this team can't afford anymore.
trez
I was wondering the same thing. Not sure Jacksonville is the place to look for QB's though...Exhibit A: Mark Brunell
RedskinzOwnU
I would rather have Jason Campbell than Leftwich. I don't think there's anything special about Byron. Jason has far more potential.

dwills1
Can we see what we have in Campbell first?
deejaydana
I have to admit I immediately thought about the Skins getting him if he becomes disgruntled (since we spend like crazy for free agents in the offseason). He grew up going to Skins games so he already likes the franchise...
TheDarb
Leftwich is an average QB. I don't really want him. I certainly wouldn't trade a high pick for him. Negatives: Slowest release in the history of the NFL. Statue in the pocket. Positives: He's super-smart and plays his guts out every week. Uh-oh... DCMONEY
I wouldn't mind having Leftwich because he damn sure is better than Brunell. The thing is I'd have a hard time dealing with investing 2 or 3 draft picks in Campbell and not playing him. I can remember the Skins going out and getting J. Trotter at MLB. When he didn't work out they put in Pierce who was here all along and then they let Pierece walk. Who can figure?

Taylor 36
We won't bring in another starting QB unless we find that JC is not going to pan out.

Stuckinphilly1
I don't know, but maybe we should stop taking QBs the Jags don't think are good any more.
