cphil006
I think Brunnell would be a great back up in this league right now. When he is rested, has is legs, he looks ok. He doesn't throw many picks and can hold things down. Perfect for a back up. As a starting QB, he's done. You hit the nail on the head with that one... nneece
Favre and Warner made the list, but I think both will be back for at least one more season. Warner is retiring. It's pretty much a done deal.

#1SkinsFan
Quitting Time: These 10 should retire:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15363470/?pg=10#anc_spt_NFL_go_retire Todd Collins and Mike Rumph are on the list. Rumph is still young and has potential. Collins is just a teacher to the real student of the game, Jason Campbell. Brunell should be on there. SkinsFTW
Whoever wrote that is a dumbass. Did they just randomly pick players or what? How about Lavar? Dude gets hurt from the wind blowing past him when he runs. Or Jim Sorgi? No way he ever sees the field. Manning gets bent in half and still plays. Has he ever missed a start? How about Jeff George? No team has even wanted his ass in almost a decade yet he still wants to play. Ted Washington isn't on this list? I was in High School when he was drafted. And I'm almost as old as Brunell, lol. Add Keith Traylor to that as well.

bulldog
clearly the guy hasn't watched too many Redskins games. Warrick Holdman needs to go. He's done physically. Brunell like Bledsoe would be a decent backup in this league but doesn't have the temperament to be the second banana.

EersSkins05
That article is funny. What a random couple of guys to pull out of a hat. As was previously stated in the thread, why in the hell should Todd Collins retire? He's drawing a decent check, is only expected to play if the starter gets hurt (maybe not even that now that Campbell is taking 1st team snaps), was hand-selected by the offensive coordinator, has never had any real expectations placed upon him at any point in his career, and gets to put on pads and play football for a living every day. It would be different if he was out there embarassing himself based on his performance in previous years (see Warner, Kurt, Bledsoe, Drew), but he's always been a backup. joelvincent
Note on Collins: He's the smartest man in the WORLD! He's a millionaire who gets paid to sit on the bench and study a playbook. He hasn't been hit in 9 years and only had to throw 27 passes with 0 starts. Before the lazy ass writer picks on him, think about how cherry that job is! Why did we get rid of Andre Lott? Why do we have constant turnover? It is starting to bite us in the you know what!
