DB44
The Washington Post....   When I used to live in Philly, Washingtonpost.com was my only source of news. Norv, Marty, and Spurrier....they had so much material they were banging out three articles a day. I just got tired of reading the hate articles in '03 and I have never gone back. I sure wish they'd change their tune. In this case, however, the eagles are the only team in camp in the region. ONE article would be nice, but not three, and rah rah to boot. How's Brunell's finger? Will rocky sign? Are the new WR's meshing well in the offense? Who's on the bubble? Who are these rookie free agents? That's what the local people want. Redskins news. :2cents:
Stew
It might have something to do with the fact that Snyder revoked all the season tickets the Redskins Organization had given to Washington Post employees last season. The Post and Snyder mix like bleach and ammonia.

Who are these rookie free agents? That's what the local people want. Redskins news. :2cents: Here are some clips from your "rah rah" article... Eventually someone will have to emerge if the Eagles are going to have a chance in the highly competitive NFC East. The obvious choices are Todd Pinkston and Reggie Brown. But Pinkston -- who caught 60 passes in 2002, and missed all of last season after tearing his Achilles' tendon in training camp -- is cautiously stepping back on the field for the first time. And Brown is a second-year player who didn't shine until the season's final four games, when he caught 20 passes. And even with that final month, he had only four touchdown catches. "Once we get cooking, people will understand this is an effective offense."Last year it wasn't, finishing 19th in the league. And that was with Owens for half a season. Now that he's gone for good, it might be worse. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/26/AR2006072601706.html Rah rah, indeed. And Eagles news IS Redskins news, since the Eagles will play the Redskins twice and figure to be competing with the Redskins for the division title. As for the "hate pieces" in '03, I mean, what do you expect to be written about a 5-11 team? If things aren't going well, they aren't going well. That's what the newspaper business is all about. Trust me, if the Redskins do what we all think they are capable of doing, they'll get glowing reviews in the Post (and from the National media) and all of a sudden we'll start reading on this board how all of a sudden the Post has become "objective" and it's "not biased anymore". All those questions you asked - from Brunell's finger to who are the rookies - these are all the issues we'll be reading about every day in the Post beginning July 31. You want to explain to me what an article on how the new receivers are meshing with the offense is going to say before training camp starts? And as for Rocky - there's nothing to say. They're in negotiations and he'll probably be in before camp. If camp opens and he isn't signed, THEN it's a story. Or, when he signs, THEN there's a story - not much of one, but a story. And as for the rookie free agents - I'd much rather read about the Eagles starters than players who are likely to be selling insurance a month from now. I don't think it is that simple. The Post hates Snyder and is taking it out on Redskins fans. ... I've been turning to the Post sports section for 55 years to read some good news. I'm sick of their attitude. This is a Gibb's team and no other Washingtonian has brought more joy to this city than Joe Gibbs (and that includes George Washington and Bell Star). Boycott the Post until after the season. Preposterous, but I'll make you a deal. Give the Post 2 weeks. See how they cover training camp follwing a 10-6 season, a playoff win, and a promising offseason. If what we read over the next couple weeks isn't optimistic and hopeful, then I'll boycott the paper with you.

H8DLAS
Wait until the Giants get in camp. Sally Jenkins will fill the paper with Lavar articles. Sally jenkins sucks. It does not matter what the skins do its never good enough for her. They could hire god to be the coach and she would disagree. She does not even live here she lives in new york. I hate her
Burgold
She actually wrote a really great apology article at the end of last season admitting how wrong she was.
